I noticed different colors for members's nicknames are no longer displayed in the Members Online Now section, is that intentional? I liked the diversity of colors there.

Hmm... strange. Will look into that one.

Also the editing tools aren't available in the quick reply box anymore. At least on mobile.

That too. Hmm.

Edit tools confirmed missing in the advanced reply box too and when pressing the Edit function in a post. On mobile.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

@Foxtrot94 are you using the Fixed or Fluid template?

Hey it's fortunate there was a recent backup & only a few days or so was lost.
Just think if the only recent backup was from two months ago lol.

That happen to me when my PS3 got corrupted, i unlocked nearly everything in a game i was playing & had to restore it from a backup.
Unfortunately the backup was months months months old.
I earned top stage rankings, beaten each difficulty setting, unlocked extra weapons, costumes, characters & lost all of that except on normal play through.

Yup after that is when i started doing weekly back ups lol.

That's why I'm happy that my console gets cloud back ups too so my save games aren't just stored on my HD it can be restored from cloud too if HD fails, double protection.

That's why i love my external hard drive.

Useful if you save on regular HD & Backup on external but no good if external is only save location & dies as they tend to have higher failure rate than standard HDs. I use one for my XB1 also but heard the stories from friends about their externals dying & all their backup work being lost as many use them for laptops with smaller HDs.

Could be the brand or type they use.
I've had mine for 5yrs, it runs everyday & a full PS3 backup once every sunday & no problems.
Friends with externals having no issues either.
Stuff is weird that way.

What causes the problem with your friends ?

Usually mechanical failure is most common thing with these type of HDD (SSDs don't have same issue) or power surge formatting them is pretty common too. I've never had HD failure personally with home machines but heard of plenty of externals that have from multiple manufacturers, had 3 fail at work too as well as multiple server ones. One of which I repaired and gave the machine to my father in law as boss didn't want it after the failure & wanted to scrap whole machine.

@Dark Drakan
lol Okay wait, i'm lost.
A SSD doesn't require it's own power source right ????

Thats right but they are mechanically different too, far more parts to break on a regular HD. As well as the huge differences with load times and many other benefits.

@Dark Drakan
I have a WD lol.
How good are these ?

I use it with my PS3, i watch movies, videos & listen to music off it & i've had no problems with it.

All my mechanical HDs in my PC are Western Digital & I've always liked them I have a Western Digital Black, Caviar Blue & a Green but the one that broke and I fixed was the Caviar Blue & failure rates for those was higher than the other 2 models.

My external is a Seagate and I've had no issues with that currently but I do need another extension cable as I have to use a seperate plug to put it in as my extension only has 2 plugs (TV & XB1).

Out of curiosity, if a new Devil May Cry gets announced, should a thread about it go to DMC General Discussion or General Gaming Discussion?

Remember the day those llamas escaped and we all argued over the color of that dress? I wish every day was like that.

Don't you?
