  • Three years have passed and people still call Xbox One and PS4 the "next" gen.

it's probably out of habit, since the "old" gen were never actually referred to as "next" generation consoles as heavily in marketing.
Alright, I'm gonna say it: Darth Vader's helmet looks ridiculous. There.

I always thought they were inspired by 60s cars when designed Kylo Ren.

@Innsmouth It was probably just Revan's design that inspired Kylo Ren. There's a lot of stuff taken from the Expanded Universe in the new movie.

*Gasp* Foxy you take that back.
Also, both Vader and Kylo's helmets were inspired by samurai helmets as well as Nazi helmets
I enjoy Arkham combat system but best Action-Adventure combat system ever? Someone's got short memory. Free Form Fighting System, anyone?

    Sleeping Dogs. End of discussion.

@Z218 Yes it was from Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. The absolute king of Action-Adventure fighting mechanics.

@WolfOD64 SD's system was pretty much a tweaked version of the Arkham system. POP:WW remains undefeated to this day. Which kinda makes me sad they didn't reuse it in Forgotten Sands.
I'm hyped for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided but man moving cover to cover is gonna be a pain. Dat Metal Gear-ish super shaky cam run, God.

I just hope they don't casualize the stealth with some of these new additions, as well as not reduce the importance of pacifistic decisions.

Hm? What additions do you fear will casualize the stealth?
    Soooooo. Watched Ip Man 3.

Wrote about it in its thread, I realized I needed more space than what a profile post/comment section would provide.
Been a long ass time since I last played Brothers in Arms. It's even more fun than I remembered. Such a memorable series, should be back.
Call of Duty in space now? Yo, this series really has gone to ****, Jesus.

It's what I'm saying. I've been shaking my head ever since the futuristic stuff came around. It's like Activision thinks COD is Deus Ex. And space battles stand for COD as much as... I dunno... blood and gore stands for Mario.

Yeah, I agree. So you were just saying enough is enough. I get it. I thought you were only bothered about it now since the space battles.

Nah, this was just the last straw, so to speak.
Oh devs. Remember when you used to map crouch to good old C instead of goddamn LCtrl? And when you made it a toggle instead of goddamn hold?
Ok I saw Arkham Knight's true ending, the Knightfall Protocol one. I... did not understand that final scene.

and he's about to break some bones. We also don't know just how much Jon's toxin affected everyone. To get the best effect, Jon would have had to target the limbic system to get the strongest fear response. However, that system also hippocampus which stores long-term memories. As PTSD victims can attest, all it takes is a trigger to bring those to the surface.

It doesn't even have to be a big thing that can trigger some one, as well. I'm guessing that toxin would cause lasting damage to the brain (as evidence of Jon's little sitting-on-the-floor-rocking-back-and-forth display if you go visit him after the game's over), imo, that would make it easier for Bats to use later to scare the hell out of people. (Sorry for the super long post. T-T I nerded out.)

Long terms effects of the toxin is a possibility.

Wait, Blood and Wine is gonna be Geralt's last contract? Last contract? You're not gonna do what I'm thinking you're gonna do, right CDPR?

Well...hopefully not. I mean, there could be other reasons as to why it's his last mission. I've never played the games, just trying to be optimistic for your sake.

Wasn't one of the endings of the main game, meant to suggest Geralt dies? The one where Ciri doesn't come back? He's in a hut, and it's swarmed by Drowners?

Also, when is Blood and Wine coming out?
    Foxtrot94
    Foxtrot94
Yeah but that ending is pretty ambiguous anyway.

They're holding the release date like a virgin does her virtue. Looks like they're gonna get their moms killed if they spit it out already. Jesus.
The heck, Uplay? What have you done to Splinter Cell Blacklist's voices? Why are they in English now? WHERE'S MY LUCA WARD AS SAM FISHER???
Man, remembering the Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 times, boy do I feel bad for what the series has become... I really miss Ezio Auditore.

Well Brotherhood and 4 were really good but unfortunately the series has gone downhill for the most part.

I think im the only one who dug Connor/Altair/Edward more than Ezio...Story wasnt as good since Unity so hopefully this year off allows them to pull a winner....

I did dug Connor to be honest while everyone seems to bash him. Of all the AC I've played though, Edward is by far my least favorite.

    Ezio remains on top.
Goddammit Microsoft. Games are not movies, they're not TV shows, and why's the industry not getting that people wanna PLAY em not WATCH em.
