I too lament what happened to the series. Altair was the coolest. One of my first PS3 games.

Tbh, Altair only started to click on me in Revelations. Ezio il Fiorentino is my fav.
Call me biased, he's a compatriot after all, but yeah. His arc through his three games made him the most compelling. Maybe it's a little unfair cause he got three games but eh.

I'm with you on that one.... haven't played an assassins creed since I dropped 3 somewhere in. Ezio was my fav, Altair never had as much personality I think but maybe I'm remembering that wrong it's been a while afer all.
