How sad is it that it'll probably have more features and modes than the new Star Wars Battlefront? I never thought in a thousand years I would ever utter that.

Eh. Yeah pretty sad. Not that I care about Star Wars. I care that COD, once one of my favorite series, is really going off the road now.

I've actually never played the COD games. Which are essential, in your opinion?

Keep in mind that the last one I played was MW3 so I can't comment on the ones after that. The ones I've enjoyed the most are the very first one, COD2, and World at War among those set in WW2. In the modern age, MW1, 2, and Black Ops.

Though the WW2 ones will always be my favorite as they portray that war pretty damn awesomely imo. That's what COD should be about as I see it, and this space stuff doesn't really give me that feeling.

Dude, CoD hasn't been the same for a while now. What makes this time any different?

It's the classic "a little bit each time" kinda strategy. The WW2 ones were about showing that war from a soldier's point of view. The modern ones still did that but twisting it a little bit with terrorism and spy story stuff. Okay. Still retained the old feel to an extent. Then the futuristic ones added corporation plots to the mix and there I started smelling BS. Now space battles? Gimme a break.

It's like setting Battlefield in the old West or Brothers in Arms in the Middle Age. Like... eh?

Actually, for me, it was the futuristic **** that killed it.
