  • So, I heard they're making live action Hunchback of Notre Dame now. Will these bad Disney remakes ever stop!? T_T

As soon as they start not making money.

It really feels like Disney has run out of creative ideas for live action films and are banking on nostalgia alone. Then again, I'm patiently waiting for a live action Atlantas
I read your Nero pitch in the thinking thread. Would you want him to be married to an older Kyrie so you could deconstruct that whole inter-species romance thing and play off of Kat and Dante?

Not gonna lie, I kinda forgot that Kyrie exists. XD
Err, I'd probably make her an old flame that either died or left when Nero's demonic powers awakened to give him some extra baggage.

Man, three new Gundam series over the course of the next couple of years. It is a good time to be a Gundam fan! <3
They're making a Gundam 00 sequel after all these years to celebrate its anniversary? I AM HYPED!!!

Yeah I enjoyed the first season way back when it first aired so this can be something cool.

Besides, he WAS a teacher. You could at the very least show him some respect for using his genius to instruct future scientific minds.

Extremely intelligent man & one of the greatest minds of a generation who inspired millions (including the entire ALS community) & changed how we view the human species & the universe as a whole. The fact he lived for 55 years with a disease that normally kills people in 2 while working on groundbreaking scientific discoveries is astounding.

He managed to challenge and expand on discoveries by Einstein & Newton at a really early age which is commendable in itself & that was before his disease took hold.
Just saw the teaser trailer for "Christopher Robin" and not gonna lie, I teared up at seeing Pooh bear again... T_T
Finished moving, though a bunch of our stuff still lies in boxes. Too shattered to do it now, taking a long rest~

Recently moved as well. I"m recuperating and getting things back in order now that I'm back home. The boxes ultimately became the least of my problems, tbh.

I had no idea that Gundam model kits had so many parts. It's gonna be an all-day thing, especially since the instructions are in Japanese. >.<

The number of parts depends on what grade you buy. They have started putting English translations in the newer kits. Good luck~

Hah. They don't even have the good sense to put all of the pieces for each unit on the same sheet. And I didn't buy it, my friend decided to get me a freaking MG kit
Fantasy legend, Ursula K. Le Guin has passed away at the age of 88. Rest in Peace.

And what a wealth of fantasy stories she left behind. She will be missed.

Apparently DB Super is ending in March but Fuji TV says no set plans for the broadcast of a new DB show “it’s not like the series is over”.

IMO, the best course of action would be to have a time-skip to either the "Peaceful World" Saga or Post-Z when it eventually comes back.

Depends how long they planned on running it for. Heard talks that it would continue indefinitely & the voice actors & animators spoke about next 100 episodes. Story wise a time jump makes sense but could also deprive them of additional content to fill time in between if they plan to stretch it out.

I think the series "ending" is great. Less Blue Rays for me to buy. (Not kidding.)
I was thinking about how to do a digimon live action movie and I was wondering if setting it in the states would be a bad idea?

Honestly, there's nothing inherently Japanese about the concept so it would be fine imo (of course you'd still have the obligatory accusation of white-washing). The obvious real hurdle for a LA movie is the Digimon themselves, it may be worth using puppets and other practical effects and saving CGI for giant Digimon.

I was gonna say they should focus on a new plot/characters rather than trying to adapt a specific one. That might get around the whitewashing criticism. Also since its a new plot characters you cant say we screwed up your favorites
