Well, I mean I brought a book to a club a couple of times (because I didn't want to be there), but you know what I'm getting at.
"Ladies and gentleman, SRS is back!!!" (I'm like any retro band who returns after their 5th "farewell" tour.) Tell me folks what is new, who is new and who needs to meet me because I've been here for over 8 Mc.Muffin years!!! 
A book I can understand.
A stack of A3 paper, highlighter pens, a ruler, 15 different pencils, an academic diary, notepads, biros, email printouts and, most bafflingly, a Fitbit? That's a whole 'nother world.
What's worse is she wanted to go out for a drink - it wasn't forced social interaction. My gosh, I was bored...

Just realized it's only a month before Metro Exodus comes out. I hope the game sheds some light on who the hell Khan is. That guy has been a mystery since the first game to me. How is he so knowledgeable about the supernatural? How can he interact with it without any harm? Where does he come from, what is his background?

I actually have but a long time ago so I don't remember much. What I do remember though, is that in the game universe his backstory is not the same as the books's.
I think they omitted his background story in the game and simply added him as another character helping you on the way. He also only appears in the very first book and never appears again. I think he's only briefly mentioned. That's also reason why they chnged his original appearance.
Though I dunno if they tallk much about him in next game, since apparently it partially based on third book. Though im still ****ed they spoilerd biggest secret about metro franchise in trailers.
No no no, it's either vintage or retro. At least that's what I tell myself.

Not the only one, been finding myself watching more and more YouTube tutorials to get my head around some in game systems despite playing games all the time. Must be hitting that “dad age” where the kids somehow automatically know more about the games you play than you do.
Latest ones were Rimworld & Prison Architect as in game tutorials are basic at best.
Jessica was just telling me about something to do with Snapface or Whatsup or whatever the hell it was and I had to stop her halfway through her riveting tale because I had literally no idea what she was talking about.
I'm still not sure whether I needed to be there for the conversation at all...

Regularly find myself standing there blank faced like... “What language are you speaking? Who are these people you speak of and why do I care?”.
And that other fun part of feeling old? When you wake up with severe back pain, no idea what you did to earn said pain in the first place, and not even the prescription painkiller you saved up for a rainy day can grant you the least bit of relief from it. >.>

I know I sound hypocritical when I say this, but try Tai Chi.
Perhaps Yoga/Pilates if you don't have access to the former.
Some basic youtube vids and a carpet should be enough to ease some of that back pain though. (Maybe.)
Or just keep using bengay with painkillers.

Just did a dry run of the walk to the new office from my house and now I'm gasping. :dead:
I'm not as in shape as I used to be. I used to be able to power walk for over an hour no sweat when I was younger. :frown:
