Just knowing someone feels that way about WoN makes me so incredibly happy. That was something I deeply hoped to inspire, that someone would gain from it what I've gained from the books I treasure most.

That's what makes so much of this worthwhile. Gods, did I ever need that. <3

Riding the hype train for Metro Exodus, I decided to replay STALKER. A nostalgia trip. And I had a little episode that reminded me of why I loved those games so much.

I was getting back to a safe zone at night when a group of mercenaries spotted me and started shooting. So I got to cover behind a tree and began peeking to fire back but something was wrong. Their bullets weren't flying at my direction anymore. I was confused till I heard a loud roar and saw their headlamps turning off one by one and their bodies dropping dead one after the other as they were being attacked by a Bloodsucker, which btw looks like THIS

and can turn invisible. The thing must have heard their gunshots and gotten attracted by them. Good thing I didn't shot a bullet or it would have gone after me too. Dude, I legged it the **** out.

Ah it's good to be back in the Zone.

My GFX card died shortly after purchasing Stalker and didnt get another PC until 9-10 years later (my most recent one) so didnt get much chance to play it. I did download the Lost Alpha Stand alone mod on my new machine though but havent had the time to play it yet. Always thought it was such an underrated series for its time and so many great mods out there I had heard, always wanted a co-op version of the game.

Looks like Metro Exodus will have Denuvo in it. Well that's potentially a deal breaker for me. That **** program is as anti consumer as it is anti piracy, and pirates have been able to crack it for a long time now anyway.

I will need to hear from people who buy the game at day one if its implementation is decent or a WB style middle finger.

I'm currently at the dentist. While I'm sitting here waiting for them, I can't help but think that it would be pretty humorous to have the Mii Channel music play while they fiddle with my mouth.
Edit: Yay, they fixed up some of my teeth. Also the Novocaine made me feel like Jack Nicholson's version of The Joker.

I bought some stuff on Amazon a few days ago, and today, when looking through my purchase history on my card, forgot that I bought it, assumed somebody is frauding my card, had the bank temporarily disable the card, and then remembered I bought it and now I can't use my card for a couple days. I am a massive dumbass.
