Considering how apprehensive I was about it, I actually really enjoyed our New Year's eve at the hub's friend's place. I'm reminded of why I'm not a drinker, though--so, so blah today. :dead: Also, Kaz got to meet one of his brothers, which was frigging awesome. They totally knew they were brothers too; out of all of Kaz's interactions with other dogs, none of them came close to this.

+Considering we got stuck in the snow and hub's friend had to help pull us out, I think it's safe to say the next vehicle needs to be a bit...bigger.

I had fun with the New Years Doctor Who Special.

Probably the best episode of series 11 to me (unfortunately/fortunately).

It had a real sense of dread that I liked.

Probably would have preferred the Celestial toymaker making a return but there is always next year .

Because I am 15 again and reliving my clubbing days this afternoon.

Well, the music from them, in any case. Be dancing for 6 hours, then this track would come on, the whole club would wait for the drop and then officially lose their shiz.

You don't get tracks like this anymore - absolute banger.

I keep thinking that that as much as I think some of these issues are all modern internet problems but then I read things like this and I am reminded that people are people and have always been people and as much as we like to think that it's the internet's fault the truth is it's our fault.

Jessica's 18th is already shaping up to be rather expensive...and it's not until July.

Four days in Shakespeare country in a 5 star hotel followed by mad partying, by the sounds of things.

To be fair, my 21st lasted two solid months so if anything she's being rather reserved...

Don't know how the dog's lead got severed (that is way too clean to have broken from wear and tear, and he was only out there for about 15 minutes on his own), but I'm glad he didn't take off as a result. This does pose a problem as far as housecleaning is concerned, though. Guess I'll just have to shut him in the bathroom when I go to sweep and mop. >.>

+I definitely need to be more discriminating on whose work I beta-read. This person has put a few too many restrictions, and it's genuinely stressing me out trying not to overstep. ._.

++In semi-related news, I'm having mood-swings regarding edits. You know, the usual. Gods, no wonder it takes me so many drafts. x_x
