Who loves it when they get a random friend request from someone they don't know? It's like...you had the whole world to pick from and you choose me to click on. I don't know you. What possessed you to seek out my friendship? There's a whole ocean between us. We've never exchanged words. I literally know nothing about you from a real life perspective. Y'know, outside of what information you have displayed. Now I understand people make mistakes, that's fine. I'm not trying to suggest otherwise. But, if you see me and my page and you don't actually know me, well...a suggestion would be not to send me a request.
Happens occasionally on Facebook and Xbox. It's the equivalent to some stranger approaching you in the street and requesting your friendship.
TL;DR: Friend requests should be sent to people you genuinely know and not random people.
