    Okay, lemme just say that the combat in Resident Evil ****es me the **** off. Thank God the zombies are the stupid and slow walking kind.

    In RE 1 HD mostly im going to hate hunters, crimson heads been for me easy to avoid but those hunters well there will be fun as i remember ones from that bad RE spinoff ORC where they been unfair with knockout attack what maked me loose intrest in game beacuse of that third mission and them in it

    @Foxtrot94: You can get easier headshots if you have the shotgun. Let the zombies get close, aim upwards, KABLAM. You can even kill multiple zombies in one shot like this, and they won't resurrect either.

    The GameCube version is the best for me since there's an exclusive control style on all original RE games on Nintendo consoles called "Control Type C" that makes the abhorrent tank controls manageable, ESPECIALLY when it comes to shooting, turning, and fleeing. Btw, Crimson Heads got NOTHING on the Hunters.

    Finally bought Resident Evil HD remaster. Certainly liking the atmosphere and the PC controls are pretty good.

    You can't, it depends on the status. Normal members are red, Gold members are yellow, LDK members are purple, mods are green and admins are blue.

    It's crazy that the XenForo folks don't natively allow this, I had to edit a template. It took less than a minute, but it's a bit daft that there wasn't an option in the admin area.

    I see a fair amount of people struggling with traversal when playing DMC4. Might do a thread about that later.

    I didn't know what to call it, you know all the moves that knock enemies back, sometimes very far away (or the enemy knocks you back)? I mean getting to them without resorting to running or Stinger spam, which are not very elegant solutions and, in the case of running, disrupt the flow of combat.

    I can rest at least knowing that John Hurt led a long, esteemed, and happy life. That's more than most of the 2016 casualties suffered, and a legend like him certainly deserves it. I liked him in Alien and the animated LOTR, but he'll always be the voice of the Horned King to me and my childhood self.

    Honestly I doubt they'll kill Luke too.
    With a title like The Last Jedi, seems too obvious. It probably is just referring to Luke (Who in The Force Awakens, is refereed to as The Last Jedi, on a couple of occasions)
    But, with the red lined title, as opposed to the yellow of the past Star Wars movies. I am expecting Episode 8 to be a dark entry in the series.

    Same here. Can you believe that stuff? I've never seen gun customization done to that level of depth, and it's the first FPS that I see that has blind fire under cover. Plus, its atmosphere reminds me of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. so much, it can't but make me happy.

    More FPS games need a decent cover system with ability to fire from behind it to add some tactical advantages to the combat. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was a great game that more games should build upon & seems some are starting to work on that now. I think this game may deserve its own thread to highlight it to others.

    Origin sale has actually been quite good this Christmas so far though I havent purchased anything in any sale yet. Will wait to see what cash I get for Christmas and use that as im broke currently.
