Not sure if all of them are so slow. And why does it annoy you? It's just shooting.

You bought the RE HD remake if I recall? I'd imagine the tank controls haven't aged very well.

Except for the dogs, the ones I've encountered so far are slow.

You can't move while aiming, the direction the character faces has to be controlled with the walking controls, and same for the height you're aiming at. It's all reeeeeeally annoying. But at least it seems they purposefully made it so that dodging them is the most effective strat.

At least in the remake they added the possibility to use more modern controls for walking. The problems with combat remained though. Definitely hasn't aged well.

Still liking almost everything else though.

I've only played RE4, 5, 6 and both Revelations games. My favourites are 5 and Revelations 2. Can't speak for the other games.

for me actually in HD remake more pain given these Crimson Heads but now learned how to avoid those, well thats mine second time playing RE 1 since once back in 1996 i had pleasure playing original PSX one. BTW from RE i played also 5,6, Rev 1 and 2 mostly

I'm still only 2 hours in, I dunno what Crimson Heads are. XD

@LordOfDarkness I plan on playing all the main ones, so I said why not starting with the remake of the first.

actually if you not burn zombie corpses they end as crimson heads, you soon will see them really

@Foxtrot94 Basically if you kill them without destroying their head or knees or by burning them, they come back as Crimson Heads. They have sharp claws, red skin, and they RUN AT YOU.

Oh ****, I'll be in deep trouble then.

@DreadnoughtDT Are headshots random btw? Cause I did destroy a couple zombies' heads but I was just aiming straight, didn't aim high or anything.

lorddemolatron, ah yes the Crimson Heads! My most feared enemies have always been the Hunters. Crimson Heads come second, followed by Mimicry Marcus. Lisa Trevor was on the list, that is until I read her backstory... Poor Lisa!
