What have you bought recently?

"Nausicaa Valley of the Wind", and "The Tale of Princess Kaguya" both from Studio Ghibli.

The store where I buy my anime from is closing down so I've been on a spending frenzy to collect as many DVDs as I can.

Alright, this Berserk obsession of mine is starting to get unhealthy, guys...

I'm not going to have a house at this rate.

There were some items on discount , so I got two small and elongated plastic baskets, two plastic containers with lids that can be secured, a set of erasers, bottle of liquid soap, set of measuring... cups? err, spoons?... cups with handles for measuring small amounts of liquids, a notebook with a pink owl on the cover, plastic beads and colorful strings, and an alarm clock with nice, modern design and silver color and place for a photo, where I put a picture of Shunsui. What? Had to choose wisely something that will be the first thing I see in the morning. XD

So my local bookstore has finally closed down, but not before I snagged a few books at discount prices. Seriously, £1 for a full length book!

They were...
Ivanhoe (Walter Scott), Gulliver's Travels (Jonathan Swift), Othello, Anthony & Cleopatra (both by William Shakespeare).

Got Shadows of Mordor Game of the year edition for only $13 just last week... After hearing so many good things about it, im really disappointed with it. I have no idea how it got a game of the year honestly.

I rather enjoyed Mordor, it reminded me of Prince of Persia Two Thrones - took a while to pick up steam and get the hang of it ^^

EDIT: On topic, I bought myself and my lady Nandos. Yup. Big spender and romantic here.

I bought "One Punch Man: Volume 4", such a great series. I don't often collect manga, but this series is so dear to my heart that I just have to support the creator.

I will say that although the translation is generally good, I have a nitpick with some of the Heroes' names. For example, they translated "Tornado of Terror" and "Lightspeed Flash" as "Terrible Tornado" and "Flashy Flash"...really Viz? :banghead:

Okay, I just opened the Guts figurine I got from that Berserk the other day...and I must say, this thing might be the best purchase of my adult life. The attention to detail on this figure is fantastic---the chipped armor, the shifting plates, the attachable crossbow...it's all amazing, but what really makes it a god among figures is the damn cape. It has wiring built in the cloth to a sweeping position.

This thing is literally making the wood on my shelf quake with awesomeness.

No?
I'm always late to the party, never mind.

@berto Nice, I remember playing Gravity Rush on the Vita, good times.

Anyway, as for me. I bought the trilogy of Professor Layton novels, "Wandering Castle", "Phantom Deity" and "Illusionary Forest". They should be arriving from Japan soon.
