Re: Hellboy trailer 2

I thought it was a fun trailer but it didn't change my mind on the film. Ironically the biggest problem is that it feels too similar to the Del Toro films and less its own unique take. It might have been better if they adapted another part of Hellboy's history like his early years at the BPRD or even the Witchfinder/Lobster Johnson stuff.

I wouldn't mind if Abe and Liz get their own spinoffs before we meet them. Them being Hellboy's partners/friends who he hasn't seen in a while and are on different case/departments is a good way to use them.

Not gonna lie tho Hellboy has some good wisecracks in the trailer.

The character I'm most concerned with is Alice (the girl with the braids) as she had a different role in the comics. I'm curious if her connection/history with the Fay is gonna be acknowledged.

Of course I only now learned that the scene breaks had vanished in the 2nd Kindle edition of WoN. *Sigh* Well, at least it's fixed now. Still, that's so irksome, considering how many people have bought it since its release. Hopefully it updates in their Kindles, too.

Music industry has lost another pioneer and innovator in Keith Flint (The Prodigy), such a shame to see another talent go in that manner. People need to remember that the emotions and lyrics that we identify with in some songs when we are going through our own low patches can often come from a similar place with the artists who write or perform them.

About a week before I can get my hands on a copy of DMC5. ^^; Which means dodging gaming spoilers Matrix-style. I should really play the demo again, get myself reacquainted with the mechanics (and limber up my fingers. I tire out way too early where gaming's concerned these days).
