I'm gonna say this one last time and, if you ignore it, I'm going to just start saying "that didn't happen" every time you start on something. You do not get a say in what my characters do or have previously done to any other character. I don't care if the character it affects is one of yours or a canon character or what. You don't get to just jump in and say "oh, yeah, your character was a total d*ck to my character fifty years ago and used to tease my character about screwing around with one of my character's relatives". It's one thing if we'd RPed this, but we didn't. You're taking too many liberties and making my character OOC; turning him from an a-hole with some kind of odd code for dealing with life into a guy who's just an evil sadist. And I'm not going to let you f*ck up all that I've worked for with this character, so shut it.

See, this is why communication is important Dad. Telling me you have very weak lungs and it's likely to be hereditary is EXACTLY the kind of information I could have done with a long time ago. Sigh...

So angry right now. Like, unbelievably, ready to smash some windows, hunt him down and nail him to his own office door by his balls angry.

School principal (had his position for all of five minutes) has been making changes to Jessica's school left, right and centre. Including a change to the uniform despite it being changed 2 years ago. An expensive change. One which I have repeatedly expressed complete and utter rejection of. Today I hear it's going ahead despite the astronomical cost of replacing the current one.

I have three kids. In three different schools. That's three uniforms which each cost a fortune. One if my children attends a special needs school for which the uniform is almost prohibitively expensive as it needs to be safe for kids to wear (no ties and shirts in case of strangulation, for example).

Apparently the change will make children learn better.

WTF???

Can someone PLEASE tell me how changing uniforms MAGICALLY changes IQ? Because I think even Forrest Gump knows that a moron in a sweatshirt will still be a moron in a blazer.

Screw you, Mr. Keen. Screw you.

Well I guess becoming a Principal will change your IQ from 100 to -25.

We pay A WHOLE Sh*T OF MONEY so that our kids, Brothers or Sisters could attend school. Where MOST Teachers go everyday and do their jobs really half *ssed. And then they complain about how bad the students are because the parents aren't cooperating with the school. And they don't stop there. they go and make silly and stupid rules to make the students hate school more. And Lets not forget how every year they increase the attendance fee.

I will cooperate with the school when it comes to my child's education. NOT when it comes to making the new principal look good. They already have a uniform, a perfectly good one, one that suits all weathers and is not embarrassing for the kids to wear. But this monumental genetic cul-de-sac wants to put them all in shirts, blazers and ties for no educational reason. And that I do not support.

If he can show me genuine studies whereby the kids at other schools have suddenly gone from average to genius by putting on a suit to go to school each day then I will back down. But he can't because such things do not exist. This isn't Metropolis and the kids aren't Superman. You don't just change your outfit and suddenly become everything you couldn't be beforehand.

It might just be me, but...that sounds painful.

Oh no not at all. They are actually fun.

The Glow Stick is a Plastic tube that contains two Solutions and a glass capsule.

1. Phenyl oxalate and fluorescent dye solution (found outside the glass capsule)
2. Hydrogen peroxide solution (found inside the glass capsule)

In order to make the stick glow you have to break the glass capsule. You do that by bending to stick. And the result is

Attempted to cancel holiday as we were struggling for funds, was told by travel agents that we have to pay full deposit before we can cancel... Full deposit is £500. We thought we had paid full deposit (£300), but now they want another £200. No way am I losing £500 for nothing so I now have 4 weeks to save up the remaining balance to pay it in full. Not to mention a £400 gas and electric bill that got emailed to us this morning... Yeah thanks for this world it's just what I needed right now.

My new PC was within touching distance and now remaining 2 components will have to wait until other things are paid off...

Wait you have to pay to cancel. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
