Could be. Though there are a lot of differences between the two pictures. And I know people are saying that it looks like the same street Nero ran down at the beginning of 4. But what would that have to do with anything?
If it indeed is the same street then it means Vergil is heading towards the church where supposedly Nero was found when he was a child. It's just one more thing supporting that baby Nero theory.

Besides that, if it is the same street then the differences between the buildings pretty much confirms that the story is nowhere near DMC4's timeline. Either it's a sequel set few years after DMC4's ending (which is unlikely IMO) or it's a prequel.

Dante is in his late twenties in DMC1, and in his early thirties in DMC4. That's enough time to build some muscles, especially if you spend your life handling swords. Heck, even a single year is enough. Especially for a half demon I guess.

No inconsistency about that.
But he's a lot bulkier in DMC3 than he is in DMC1, and the he's even more hulkish in DMC4 than both of those games. I'd buy him being slim at 19, and then gradually becoming stronger with each game...but going from bulky, to lean, to Conan-strong? That seems a little odd. Even if he is half-demon, I'm pretty sure it isn't possible for Dante to manipulate his physique at will.

Unless he can, in which case Vergil should apply the same ability to his chunky new legs.

Facial hair and eyebrows do tend to be darker than hair
But his eyebrows are white in all the past games...

Also, if they have made his stubble white, it wouldn't be visible, thus not giving the desired effect.
I don't see why he wasn't given white facial hair like Geralt from Witcher 3, but I can see your point.

Mah... not really, I don't see all THAT difference. The shoulders, yeah, but overall, he's not big in DMC3, at all. He's still rather slim.

Rather, what is odd is how his physique changes from DMC4 to DMC2. Maybe whatever happened in between that made him so grumpy also made him so depressed that he suffered from eating disorders? I dunno.

He has a broad frame in DMC2 same as DMC4 maybe his size is attributed to his power , the stronger he gets the bigger he gets , and between the beginning of DMC1 and DMC4 he gets a big power boost

Why are we even talking about the idea of Dante changing sizes from one game to another? That's a completely different discussion entirely.

@Sawyer1331: Yes, true. But we could still speculate at this point in time that Vergil was just wearing a disguise to not be recognized / draw attention to himself for other reasons. Damn I want more clarification.

Am I the only one who can't wait to spam this classic move with passion again, and not that horrible Dimension Slash rip-off ?

S**t, is that the Dragon Warrior skin mod? I can't find it anywhere, not even at Infernal Works! Is that you playing? You have the mod? Upload iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!

Ha! The REAL cool looking Judgment Cut! Not that generic lines effect they gave us in DMC4 and DmC!

What if it's just like a Makeover and they're not showing it after another couple of months where we have gameplay and Vergil's just takes it of and unleashes his Yamato on the demons around him kind of like he did in his Epilogue on DMC 3 SE.

We're not talking about DmC.

The effect he's talking about was in DMC4 too, and damn I was disappointed by it. But I guess Vergil is the only one with the ability to pull off that sphere of cut effect, so now that he's back, maybe we can see it again!

We're not talking about the dimension slash (or the judgement cut) period. Stop going off-topic.

Wut? What's off topic about that? It's Vergil's signature move. We are expressing our wish for it to come back in DMC4 SE instead of the effect that was in vanilla DMC4.

Sure thing.

Edit: Nope, I stand corrected. Looks as though Vergil has both arms.

I can't believe half of what I'm reading. I didn't know there were so many teenage DMC fans. I mention one thing about Dante's design changes being reflected in Vergil, and suddenly the thread derails into a discussion about Dante, followed shortly by people saying that Judgement Cut is off-topic. Between that and the bafflingly short-sighted speculation, I don't know what to be most confused about.

The last thing I want to talk about is Nero, Dante, or chunky leg syndrome. Let's talk Vergil.

(I say this noting that Nero and Dante have as much to do with this game as anyone else, but they are clearly not the most interesting fact about this teaser)
