I mean the game and story in general. the execution wasn't supposed to be good, but ridiculous. You mean the gameplay?
And I love it.

So?You're also the only one who asks if you're the only one all the time.
And yes,you and probably a few other people don't want styles.
What about Trickster? Don't tell me you actually count that ****ty airdodge a skystar? So?
Yeah cuz IMO, all of the style parts were in DmC. The only style that was out was the royal guard. All they had to do was just replace the one of the dodge buttons over that feature.

No,It wasn't supposed to be 'sexy'. It was supposed to be ridiculous. as I've said.Gameplay was good but the story and general aesthetics was supposed to be good, it was supposed to be 'sexy', being over-the-top doesn't mean it has to be bad.

And angel glide does not count for combat,it was made for platforming but the air dodge is so bad you're forced to use angel glide.
Difference is,Trickster was made for evasive maneuver. Angel glide wasn't..Yeah and you were forced to use the Trickster dash in some part of DMC3 and 4 too.

And I never said being over the top means being bad,I said they didn't even try to make it good, which they didn't.
*puts on straight face* Bayonetta wasn't supposed to be sexy. It was supposed to be ridiculous in the way that she's a middle aged single woman and is horny to an extreme extent. You can't tell me with a straight face that bayonetta wasn't supposed to be sexy.
How much sexualization that went into Bayonetta is nothing short of shameless and here's the thing, even if you're trying to be ironically fetishistic, it doesn't mean someone isn't going to jerk off to it. It makes it no less perverted. That's like making a kinky porn and acting like you're supposedly more sophisticated than everyone else who does because you're aware of how perverted your work is.The problem is, Bayonetta wasn't trying to be sexy, like that other guy said. It was trying to be over the top, just like Lady Gaga (Christ she's annoying) and some others try to be. It was supposed to be hilariously bad in its execution.

Just because she makes sexual references and poses doesn't mean shes about being sexy.
In the same sense that Donte isnt about being an asshole just because he says "**** You" all the time.
*takes off straight face*

I agree. I Have run through 3 many many times without trickster. And Angel glide is what I used as a dodge in the new one most of the time. If I ever had to dodge >.> The enemies practically swung randomly the first few playthroughs.Tell that to the people who ran through DMC3 with Royal Guard. And in DMC4, you didn't really need it either.
You weren't "forced" to use it like you had to use Angel Glide. It was optional.
Respectable. I can agree with most of what you're saying.Being able to play a whole game without becoming familiar with the moveset available to you doesn't sound like the best design to me, either. If it doesn't prove particularly useful, it may not be rewarding enough for the player to find any value in it. It would resign that feature to something only the most involved players would want to do.
I think having demon dodge and parrying in place of royal guard is a much more encouraging reward mechanic. Just my two cents as a game designer, though- it's just an opinion based on the kinds of gameplay I like to do. But my friends never really understood royal guard, while they seem to understand all of the gameplay mechanics available in DmC.
That doesn't necessarily mean it's better, but it gets more people to enjoy the game fully.
Outdated and stale as in there are people who have more than 1000 hours in the game, right?DmC is a fantastic game, and while DMC didn't need a reboot. It was only getting outdated and stale with DMC4.
that's the 1% dude -_-Outdated and stale as in there are people who have more than 1000 hours in the game, right?
Oh,so they don't matter. That's right.that's the 1% dude -_-
1000 hours? I think those people need to find more productive things to do with their life dude.Outdated and stale as in there are people who have more than 1000 hours in the game, right?
