What have you bought recently?

Not exactly a purchase but about to order a home testing covid 19 kit for my daughter.

Have also bought adorable Japanese kitty tshirt from Amazon.

Because if I'm going to have to shield for 14 days, I wanna do it in an awesome tshirt.

Oh boy, well this was about a month ago. But I finally got that physical copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake. Got it off of Amazon, from a third party buyer, cost me an extra $20 bucks then if I got it directly through Amazon. Not ideal, but I don't regret it. I then deleted the digital copy and save data and played the entire thing over. My second playthrough was quicker, but the game still took me 40 hours.

I also got some new Blu Rays, I got the original Godzilla, which I also got from Amazon. Didn't get overcharged though it was late (It was ordered around a month before my copy of Final Fantasy VII, but it arrived over a week after). I also got (These I did find and buy in a store) Birds Of Prey, which my nephew tried to tell me he thought was better then Deadpool, not seeing it (My nephew is turning 17 if anyone was curious. Yes I'm only 28, my brother is 40), I also got The Invisible Man, which I thought was a solid flick. I also got a RWBY collection, it was Volumes 1-6, so almost the complete series so far.

Also thinking of ordering some more. Got it narrowed down to either the Devil May Cry anime, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) and it's prequel, or getting the Evil Dead movies (I saw you can get the first two in a two pack fairly cheap then buy Army Of Darkness separate)

Street Fighter V Champion Edition (PS4)
Uncharted Lost Legacy
Shadow of Colossus Remake
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Beer... all staff are meant to be back in the office Monday and really enjoyed not having to listen to their political conversations and general patronising bullshit I have no time for.

I found a cheap copy of this movie:

I saw it a few years ago, though that's only because there was just never any good subtitles for it. There is no BluRay for it and I really got a kick out of it. it's tremendously rare, which i find weird but, whatever the reason, I am getting my own copy, finally.

-A copy of Animal Farm

-11 copies of Fall of the Spectrum (on my MIL's dime; she's planning on gifting them to family and friends for Christmas, which she did when WoN came out too).

-Also a T-shirt I saw whilst browsing FB (they have probably made so much money off of people like me, lol).

I've been buying a few boxes of ramen and some rice. I get a feeling the financial situation is not going to be great soon and I don't want to end up without some supplies out here. The stores can be pretty frugal round this way. I haven't been able to get any decaf since the start of the lockdown and you just can't get any Tesco or Asda or other store deliveries of groceries at all. Next slot they have is end of July. Pretty useless...
Keep your intake of ramen low, bro. Ramen is known to have rat chemicals in them. I love the soup taste they usually have, but it's basically cheap fast food at home.

My Battle Angel Deluxe Edition Box Set came in the mail. It was supposed to come in next week, but I got it after ordering it two days ago. I will start reading tonight.

A fridge freezer - ours has decided enough is enough and almost all our food got wrecked. Managed to save a bag load and kind friends of ours have let us use their freezer space until the new one arrives.

Not exactly what I wanted to spend this week's money on, but needs must

"Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise"

The original DP was one of my favourite cult classic gems back on the PS3 so I'm so glad to see it get a sequel(?) after all these years.

Not so much brought... but was able to rent another month of server hosting, with 52% of the total sum being covered by donations from community members! Thank you!

Christmas presents.

Yup, it's that time of year again when I get prepared 5 months early for a single, usually anticlimactic, day.

Might as well take advantage of the slashed prices due to the pandemic...
