What have you bought recently?

With respect Carlos, my wife has bad asthma , my daughter has it too

And this is a pulmonary virus

So I'm taking absolutely no chances whatsoever

If that seems ott or paranoid , so be it

But I want to ensure my loved ones are at 0 per cent risk

Also this was a box not an envelope

And it was handled without gloves or a mask, so it was touched and breathed on

Anyway let's just move on lol
Whoever does our amazon deliveries usually has his finger wedged up his nose or is "rearranging" himself (if you get what mean) as a matter of course, with or without a pandemic. One driver we had via DPD used my garage door as a urinal once. And Yodel needs to be renamed Yolo based on how little they care about...well...anything.

I've started pretending we're not in so they have to use our designated safe space - I'm not touching a box of chlamydia or whatever they're carrying today, thank you very much

Current Purchase: mattress for adult daughter who, now she's out of work, suddenly needs things bought for her. Funny that...

Whoa.... What a small world. I has asthma, too. God bless your family, man.

:)

Streets of Rage 4, reviews were all really positive and originals were big part of my childhood & Xbox Game Pass for PC (which I didnt notice Streets of Rage 4 was already on so got a refund for it on Steam).

To keep myself sane, I've been buying up a bunch of books over the past few weeks to read whilst stuck inside.

The Complete Works of H.P Lovecraft, A History of Ancient Egypt, The Making of the Wild West, The Rise and Fall of Carthage, Korean from Zero Vol 1 and so on...

Finally got my copy of Big O on Blu Ray. Watching this tonight.
What a coincidence, I happened to watch my copy last week.

The only disappointment was that the Blu-Ray copy sadly uses the alternate lawyer friendly OP instead of the originals. :frown:

It's a nice remix, but nothing beats the original opening. Makes me wish I was able to get the original DVD box sets at the time.

I had to rebuy two books for me and some surprise bubble bath for mum because the bubble bath exploded in the mail. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ What do.

We still use a kettle on the range, no lime in the water so we have had it for years

I bought my wife flowers and wine today, work has had her exhausted and down

So I thought a pick me up and a drink might be just what she needs when she finishes work later

I've been buying a few boxes of ramen and some rice. I get a feeling the financial situation is not going to be great soon and I don't want to end up without some supplies out here. The stores can be pretty frugal round this way. I haven't been able to get any decaf since the start of the lockdown and you just can't get any Tesco or Asda or other store deliveries of groceries at all. Next slot they have is end of July. Pretty useless...
