They should either turn the mics off for whoever's turn it's not or arm the person in charge of the debate with a taser. Maybe it'll create some order...
That wouldn't work. It works on Wrestling, because it causes storyline progression, but for presidential debates, it's different. People want to hear from particular people. Example, tonight was the first U.S. Presidential Debate, and Trump carried the debate. Trump didn't even need the earphone to help him bulldoze through the debate. Chris Wallace (Debate Moderator) fought with Trump, and Trump did it back. It was awesome.

@Carlos You're welcome to think that way. But with all do respect, which is to say absolutely none, talking over someone for however-long that nonsense lasted isn't 'carrying the debate'. It's being a bullying, cowardly c*** who can't accept the slightest bit of criticism. And I would prefer someone in power to have slightly more decorum and poise and to actually give a d@mn about the country they're supposed to be leading. He's a disgrace and acted like a toddler, therefor he should go in timeout.

Dont you just love it when tech makes you feel stupid for not figuring something out sooner.

For years ive been using a DVI to VGA Adapter for my GPU to my monitor as it wouldn't detect HDMI at all when i first got it. I did some research back then and due to it being a new model monitor there wasnt much troubleshooting advice available and most results came back as possible faulty HDMI port on GPU so I just persevered with it.

I recently purchased a new GPU (which hasnt arrived yet) and now HDMI is the standard so I wanted to make sure it wasn't my monitor that was actually the issue as I wouldnt have an alternative now with the new GPU. I plugged the HDMI in and still got the 'No Cable Detected' message so did some research again and turns out that my monitor shipped with the auto detect/switch to HDMI disabled... all I had to do was connect via VGA and select option to Enable Auto Detect/Switch to HDMI and it worked.

After all this time of using an out of date inferior cable it was merely an option that wasn't enabled by default... :cautious:

Funny how I've never had a problem with Explorer all these years, but lately I've had no choice but to switch to other browsers. There's literally only 2 things I use it for regularly (2 others occasionally). I might as well just switch all the way over at this point...

I'm thinking that watching movies you saw as a kid but didnt understand, then as an adult

Is truly great and shows why they were seen as classics

Watching the movie back draft currently, which I haven't seen since I was 8 or 9 so roughly 1995 or 1996 , incredible movie

Not related to seeing movies again as a grown-up, but I've seen The Godfather like four times, and every single time I've realized something I didn't get earlier.

Like the part in the very beginning, where the don smacks his godson, and the consigliere just lols in the background... pure gold, knowing the details behind that scene

Some movies can be watched multiple times and still bring on that nostalgic feeling

I've seen rocky about 20 times, but when it's on the tv I still sit down and watch it lol

Same with heat or shawshank or countless others

Not to mention, I hope no amount of "debate carrying" will make Americans forget how absolutely awfully he's handled the recent events this year. If THAT massive failure doesn't tell people anything, nothing will. I don't follow US politics closely, I don't know the other candidate but he would have to be a special kind of personified trash to make voters genuinely doubt choosing him over Trump after the unreal show of utter incompetence and buffoonery he's pulled in 2020.

My wrists have been hurting the past few days. I hope it's nothing serious.

If you have been gaming a lot it may be ulnar or carpal tunnel

@Foxtrot94

Haven't been gaming more or harder than my usual... Not much of a problem in FPS games too cause I'm mostly an arm aimer... But playing controller games is a literal pain, especially fast paced ones. And the pain persists for a while after I'm done playing too. Ugh.

Could be that claw issue that people get from holding the controller a certain way for fighting games and games like dmc

Hopefully it will pass soon for you, probably need rest

Turns out wrists are just inflammated and need rest. No DMC for a while I guess.
I feel your pain, though. For the first time in about a year, I played DMC 5 and got hit with motion sickness. The older I get, the more careful I have to be regarding both issues. One of those "the spirit is willing..." things. :( Hope your wrists feel better soon, though.

CT: I am simultaneously relieved we're at the end of this week and dreading our out-of-town trip next week. :S
