Very recent and unusual activity on the Crysis Twitter page is having people think a remaster or remake is about to happen.

Honestly Crysis absolutely has no need for either, both in graphics and in gameplay. Part of me hopes that if something is gonna happen, it's the revival of its multiplayer servers. I wanna play Power Struggle again, so badly. When GameSpy died, it dragged many of my favorite games' multiplayer modes with it. So I hope they're gonna have their own servers now.

I think it's necessary to fix not just the server connection (GameSpy is dead), and the graphic bottlenecks to solve framerate issues (if you don't remember: it was sluggish at launch, needed more polish from what I played). I like the games, just needed more work.

Thinking that vanity publishers are deceptive assholes, but thank gods I am neither stupid nor desperate enough to let myself get pulled into signing their contract. (Not that I have thousands of dollars to throw at them anyway, but even if I did, I still wouldn't). Damn them and their misleading "publishing high quality books from exciting authors for more than 20 years." b.s. >.>

+Nervous/excited about tonight's Zoom check-in. I've never done anything with this group before, so it should be interesting to see if I like it enough to attend again, or if I'll leave it as a one-time experience.

The fact that I've just picked up homeschooling packs to last until mid June is enough of an indicator as to when the lockdown may start lifting. Frustrating part is, summer break starts end of July so I have a sneaking suspicion that the kids are home until September.

Even tipsy, I smashed everyone at Scrabble. I am superior. Even if all the letters were upside down...

PS. the lockdown has me revisiting many old fandoms. It's the first time I thought about Hitman reborn in a decade. Apparently the future saga felt like it picked up all of the Aizen saga's habits which is why I dropped it.
