I think they know that you're a student. And that's kinda the point. You're studying this subject, so that puts you in the same "out of college" fresh mind. In other words: Whatever the case is, it needs fresh perspective. A lot of the cynical, a lot of the complacent lawyers are stuck in the "old guard" legalese. They want someone who's young, and hungry to succeed. That's you.
You made this sound like it's a head start for me to be an undergraduate in this business :laugh: feels good though, considering that generally I've been a bit too worried about my lack of experience in this.
Anyway, we had some short negotiations about the price and the result is that the customer pays me 2,5 times my original price. It's still a lot, but it is a lot more ethically acceptable for me since it falls below the reference market price.
Would love to make some for you :laugh: I've got the best home-made ice cream recipe ever, with the flavour of Tyrkisk Peber, but I bet it would work with coffee as well. I would serve it with some crispy, roasted cake crumbles, to make it coffee cake ice cream and not just regular coffee ice cream (which would available in every grocery store anyway).

Hmm, maybe I'll try it later today. I think I've still got some glucose syrup somewhere.
On the left, a piece of cinnamon sponge cake, on the right, homemade coffee ice cream. I wasn't patient enough to wait for it to freeze completely, so it's a bit soft.
DreamcastGuy on YouTube is saying that the game is long. I'm not even surprised that there's two discs for FF7R. Not because of the original, but because the game seems massive. You think they could keep it in one disc with all that detail? MGS4 shipped with dual layered BD disc, holding 50GB for reference.
@Carlos@Foxtrot94
I started getting Digital releases so I should be fine. In fact, the only disks I have are for Death Stranding and DMC5.
I read the IGN review and it feels like an expansion of the original game. The Midgar portion gets expanded with new areas, side quests, characters, etc of debatable quality.
It had its TV premiere here a couple of weeks ago. Loved the William Gibson -ish future in it, as well as the ethical aspects slightly crossing similar ones in Detroit: Become Human. I wasn't able to finish it (it wasn't a choice), but maybe I'll watch it all the way through this weekend.
Also, Niander Wallace gave me immediate Elijah Kamski vibes. :nailbiting:
2 Releases? When they couldn't even cover the first disc of the original in one? It's gonna be 3 or 4 at the very least, unless they change the story drastically. And before anyone cries, it's not really a spoiler that the game only covers Midgar, since it's stated on the official site.
Here's hoping ACX's QC team is satisfied this time (and that they don't take another 2 months to get back to me and my narrator). >.>
+Time to play the game of "did she forget, or has she just been busy?" ._.
++ Maybe I can get through three chapters with kiddo today. We've been going pretty slow, but her interest in Darkside is a positive omen. And since she seems to like listening to stories more than reading them, getting her audiobooks might be the way to go (y'know, once she has her own device to listen to them on).
On Monday our health institute informed that the count of new deaths is currently -1. Yes, MINUS one. That's because a hospital had erred in counting the dead. Imho it's a bit concerning error anyway, but that's not the point.
There are dozens of jokes about this error going around here, mostly referring to resurrection.
And I just thought that isnt getting back from the dead around Easter a bit old concept?
