Capcom should probably cut back on the photogrammetry thing, as well as the need to have every single cutscene motion-captured.
It sounds cheap but if they went back with "stock animation", they could cut down on budget and development time, while increasing the amount of story cutscenes and have multitude of branching paths again, like the first Resident Evil.

Well, we have Animal Crossing: New Horizons now, so guess who's taking a hiatus from her FNaF 4 losing streak for the next little while?
+I can't help thinking that, by the time I've finished combing through ST, I still won't be able to pick up where I left off in the writing of it. Doesn't help that I'm probably going to commission a cover for FotS sometime after we do our taxes (so in about 13 days, since the hub's in quarantine--thereby putting me in quarantine) which means I need to be sure of the number of pages/that FotS is as polished as it can be beforehand. I mean, I guess it won't be immediate, or anything--but I'll still have to put priority on FotS, either way.
Poor ST. It spends more time on the back burner than actually being written. ^^;

Loved those books as a kid! I remember my aunt reading them to me, and got them on tape for me for christmas one year. on another note, I just spent 10 minutes editing my gf's disney descendants fanfic, on google docs. I thought man i could do this for a living. or at least earn a few extra bucks in the midst of this madness.

They are currently downgrading the video quality for the time being since COVID19 keeps people at home.
Sony is doing the same in Europe, PSN speeds are staggered, throttled, etc.

Looks pretty likely a friend of mine has the virus - she's over 70 and generally in good health but has had symptoms for at least two weeks and now it's getting worse. I saw her the day before she developed symptoms so not really sure what the protocol is?
I don't have any symptoms and neither do any of my family or anyone else I've been in contact with since seeing her...been social distancing like a boss as it is. Can't really insist on a test on the off-chance, I don't think?
We're waiting to hear back from her as to what the clinician says via the 111 helpline. Hopefully it's nothing too serious and she won't need specialist care. She's like a mother to me - and I can't even see her :frown:

I was watching TheQuartering's video where he shows tweets of SJW's crying like a bunch of petulant 2 year olds squibbling, squabbling over useless, stupid garbage. At that point I was thinking "Do you guys realize there is more important things to be mad, or worried about? Huh? Coronavirus is a deadly virus, and you're bitchin' about men?"

There's not much to focus on besides staying home, actually. And that means people are less busy and have way more time to ramble on social media. It's not at all surprising tbh.

I'm thinking why bother buying an 8k tv for next gen consoles and media
When there are no 8k apps, no 8k tv channels or media
And said consoles will do upscaled not native
So instead I'm buying the new lg cx oled, it has gsync , freesync and vrr, dolbyvision and hdr10 and does 4k 120hz and 4k 60hz
With auto low latency game mode, dolby atmos and 3 or 4 hdmi 2.1 ports
It's a big step up from my samsung q9fn Qled
I dont get the point in buying an 8k tv this early, when 4k isn't even properly mainstream yet

Thing is, it's getting cheaper to buy 4k TV's.
It's going to be more mainstream by Black Friday, and Christmas of this year [2020].
Many articles about PS5 and Xbox Series X have not explicitly said anything about "upscaled" resolutions. I do remember some articles referencing "native 4k," with support for 8k. Though, these chips are custom chips designed for today. Ryzen series of chips are out, and newer "off the shelf" chips will support RDNA 2, so I have no doubt that the PS5 and Xbox Series X will be native 4k, with support for 8k.
1080i/p TV's are cool, and all, but once you start to see 4k TV's, and Quantum TV's, you will not want to go back to 1080i/p TV's. The difference is noticeable, trust me. 8k is going to be insane, and probably not useful. The next advancement is going to be more colors, better color hues, and better blacks on-screen.

So I'm covered as is
