LOL Oh no, don't look sad! Rosie's 4 months old and just latched on to mum. Mum ended up naming her (Lady Roslyn Wigglesworth) and Rosie prefers to sleep beside her and comes when mum calls. So I think Rosie's just kinda become mum's cat. Which is probably good because we had to take the puppy back to the shelter.

In other news, it is not the same without trouble here... This sense of ease worries me. Also she is really cute....

Just saw someone on a witchcraft blog I follow complaining about how people shouldn't draw their "witchsona" because it's offensive, and I just...how? Are you going to complain about Halloween witches and costumes next? Good gods.

Offensive to whom? Some special snowflake? Cause those who claim to be real witches are actually not (at most they are pagan priestesses), if they had any idea about the history of witchcraft, unless they really throw curses, in which case they are offensive on their own. XD

It's funny, back in the times of witch trials, to call someone a witch was like being called a racist homophobe today, with far more painful and deadly outcome. It was pretty much The Purge aimed at pagans and essentially anyone that someone wanted to get rid of. And then in modern times it all got twisted and all women dealing in magic became "witches", while men not only got to keep their sorcerers and shamans, but were also granted a special title of warlock to distance the evil ones from the rest, and to distance them from women I guess, witch was originally a unisex term.
There are people who dabble in actual witchcraft, they are not nice people.

@Viper Idk, the chick was just really up set about it? I'd post quotes, but the post is probably long buried by now. I just think it's a little ridiculous, personally. Maybe it's because I've been a practitioner for most of my life and I've studied a lot about both modern and older witchcraft and the witch trials, but I don't see how someone drawing themselves in a silly costume is offensive when said costume doesn't relate to anything historical and witchcraft isn't usually a family tradition so a lot of people don't consider it a religion, so...again, not seeing it.

One thing you def got right, though, is that I'm a really bad witch. Like...yesterday was a holiday and I didn't do a single thing. No food out for the spirits, no prayers for anyone, no blessings for the dead. I forgot until I was getting ready for bed. Very bad. For shame, self. Worst priestess of the dead ever. At least I won't forget Allhallowtide....

It's why I said special snowflakes would be the only one offended. Many have noticed people these days just look for any excuse to be mean to others, but those that feel the need to be special get offended and violent at just about anything that might make them feel not so special.
The only witches we have here bury evil stuff on people's properties, so you're hardly the worst for putting bunch of ghosts on a diet. XD

Woot, got Netflix again and I'm very happy. Now I can watch Castlevania and other shows that I might have missed. So much show to catch up on. lol
