My neighbors seem to think setting off fireworks in their backyard is a genius idea. They seem to forget that we're in a desert. In the middle of summer. Where 90% of the plants are dead and dry and will remain so for the next few months...

...if you burn my house down, I swear to friggen Avo. The headache's bad enough, but if I lose my books and my favorite blanket and shoes and video games because you're not very bright, you better be prepared to build me a new friggen house and rebuy everything. :grumpy:

Every time I think the heat's about to break, it hits worse than ever. Kinda hard to enjoy outside time, when heat stroke's a thing. :meh: On the plus side, I'm no longer Casper-coloured. Or, well...y'know, the parts that are actually getting sun aren't. ^^;

+I want to write more, but due to my weird, bordering on OCD methods, I don't want to do a bunch today, just not to match it tomorrow.

++Maybe I'll sneak upstairs for an hour, try to get in something kind of like a nap, only minus the actual sleep. Down time? Yeah, that sounds right...

At Gran's house, slow cooking ribs...and, somehow, I'm the only one awake. XD At least this is making for excellent writing time. Hard to try not to take a nap, as well, though...so quiet...so relaxing...better go get some caffeine and sugar.

+ How can people keep their pets out in 100+ degree heat? What is wrong with them? >_< Would they want to be locked outside with no shelter or water in that weather?

So tired of the tier list junkies on Smash Bros. For those who don't know, a tier list is a list that ranks each character on the strength of their abilities, and potential to win matches under tournament conditions. Basically, a list that shows who is "objectively" the best characters in the game.

And it means absolutely NOTHING to me because you can be great with ANY character.

I came across this thread that was asking which characters do we main, so I posted my top 2 which is Link and Little Mac. A few people got absolutely livid because Link and Mac are technically low tier characters saying I shouldn't use them. It was so stupid.

I've won Smash tournaments with characters like Little Mac. Yea, his recovery can be crap, but if you know how to play him, he moves quick and hits like a truck. I can destroy the competition with this "low tier" character.

I just realized I typoed that one of my characters used to be in training to become a sturgeon (I meant surgeon) and, for some reason, I can't stop giggling. Bed time, me thinks.

I wonder when people are gonna realize huskies don't suffer from heat any more than any other dog. Their fur protects them from both cold AND heat.

Just because it is generally associated with Alaska and cold environments doesn't mean it can't live anywhere but cold places.
