As a Proud Pinkist, I can admit that Skitty is by far my favourite Pokémon.

I'd love the castle but that would be a beast to sit through. But Calcifer and his May All Your Bacon Burn quote is also a favourite.

Lol! I have the T-shirt. It would make a sweet tat, as would the castle--but yeah, that would be a long one to sit through. D:

Nickelback's "All The Right Reasons" album sold 3 times as more copies as A Perfect Circle's entire discography.

My best friend's mother just died and...I really don't know what to do. We live on opposite ends of the country and I'm terrible with emotions, but I...know he's upset and it's not about me, it's about helping him grieve. But I feel like everything I say is totally inadequate. How does one sum up how sorry they are for someone's loss? There's no words.

Oh, wow...that's terrible. :( I know what you mean; I don't think there are words to express that. All you can do is your best to be there for him. Words may be inadequate, but I'm sure he'll appreciate the action and sentiment behind them. :(

There are no words - so just being available is probably the best thing you can do. Letting him know you're an ear to bend when he needs to talk can be enough. One of my best friend's mother died last year and I'm crap with that stuff so I just messaged her saying I'm here, I don't know what to say but I'm here.

Words can be helpful if you do have the right ones but more often than not, just knowing someone is there for him regardless is more helpful.

I think I've worked out a solid system. ^^ As long as I let the dog get a ton of outside play-time, he naps while I write. (I still have to do it in sprints, though. Getting my quota done all in one go isn't possible at this juncture; he recovers too quickly, lol).

+Oh, please no...I don't want to go to the beach. ._. I'm exhausted as is.

++Maybe I should up my coffee dosage until this is over...

My gosh, this cover of "Uptown Funk" is even greater than the original. I love the fact that he headbutted the keyboard at the end.

You know, if you drink the blue liquid from a magic 8 ball, you can see the future. Trust me. I once knew this guy who did it, and he said he was going to die, then he did.

Thank you both. I've been talking to him and he's been wanting to keep things like everything's normal, which seems to be helping him a bit. I'm going to keep talking to him...hopefully everything will be easier in the end.

Thinking:
Ooh, pretty violin music.
