A Russian fairytale

One day a mouse saw the farmer set up a mousetrap. He went and told that to chicken, sheep and cow, and they all said it is none of their business.
Soon after a snake got caught in the mousetrap and bit the farmer's wife.
In attempt to cure her, they made her chicken soup. Then the sheep was slaughtered to treat those who came to see her. Finally they slaughtered the cow to feed people that attended the funeral.
All this time the mouse was watching events unfold from his hole and thought about things that are, as it seems, nobody's business.

Maybe I need a few days off from the internet. Or...just from certain parts of it. -twitches-

I still get weird looks when I tell people I don't have a cell phone.

Though how many people use them to call people nowadays.

I don't have one either. Well...technically I do, but it has no battery in it, nothing else on it, and it's sitting on a shelf where it never gets touched, so I feel like I don't. -doesn't see the point in cellphones, really-

When I was a kid, if I went somewhere I would make a mental note of where the police station, hospital and every phone box I saw in case of an emergency.

Then again, I probably didn't get a phone because I didn't have any friends growing up. :'(

Mine's pretty much just for emergencies at this point. ^^; It acts as my clock, alarm clock, and flash light when I'm going to bed more than anything else. xD Texts are rare to and from friends, and usually only between my husband and I to figure out what to have for dinner or what needs picking up from the store. When it does go off, I almost always jump out of my skin. ^^;

CT: That toast didn't do anything. Maybe eggs are the way to go...

+ Okay, since revisions of Chapter Five and Six went quicker than expected, the new goal is to get Chapter Seven prettied up by Saturday--at the latest. Most of the work is technical, anyway. The plot hasn't undergone much change; mostly just added in details in the first few, and removal of extraneous details.

I hope you can find some of the others, then. ^^ Sounds like the confusion just made you that much more determined to find the others, lol.

If I ever watch it, I'll have to keep that in mind. Also, happy birthday to Seth. ^^ It is his birthday, right? Not Callum's? ._.
Yes, it was, and thank you :) He got a chocolate egg, tried to shoplift and got caught, didn't finish his dinner, played Minecraft, and got pudding. Very exciting for a little kid XD

We never do kids parties. Mostly coz I don't like kids, but also they are just chaos with a dose of stress. Or vice versa. Much rather take them somewhere they can remember later.

For my birthday I'm trying to get it sorted so I can go shark diving. Much better than going out for dinner.
Yep, I find it very stressful to host these things, and I always feel rude because I never mingle with the parents because I'm running around trying to keep everything running smoothly and whatnot. It's nice when they're at the age where their parents just drop them off and I can chuck them all into the play area and put my feet up until I'm hungry for cake. And these play centers are nuts. You HAVE to have a minimum of 8 kids for the birthday party packages. I'm just like....fffff, yeah, 8, you wish. So far I've only got 7 coming. Not telling the place, though. I'll 'be' the 8th kid and eat the kiddy pack myself. For Nolan. Because he can't eat yet. Seems reasonable enough.

But yeah. I'm growing out of the birthday party phase with my two older kids. They've been way too spoiled. Too much junk in their rooms, too. In future they can pick, present or party, but I'm not budging for both.

What' a "mili?" I keep hearing about that, and it sounds like a slang term.

I'm assuming it's not referring to pistols, that doesn't seem like a topic all the "kool kidz" talk about.

Apparently it's an insult, meaning "millimetre peter."
I've never heard of it before but apparently it refers to someone with a tiny Johnson.

Anyway, my thoughts: Looking for a job is such a pain.

Finished watching Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, I liked it even more than the first series. Easily one of my favorite animes.
yeah the first series is great at the beginning but then they ran out of manga and had to start making things up and it just gets weird at the end

where as brotherhood follows the manga all the way and is all better for it

but if i had to compliment the first series on one thing
the Ed vs Greed fight was awesome

Yeah that fight was great. Greed is probably my favorite homunculus.
