Got back from crappy London.

Full of idiots.

Full of tourists who are also idiots.

Didn't have an Oyster card so had to wing it with contactless and hope no one asked for a ticket coz there's no receipts.

Hotel sucked, beds made of concrete and no TV.

Didn't know we would be staying in a strictly-observant Jewish part of North London and it was Shabbat so everything was confusing and there was no bacon.

No.

Bacon.

London sucks.

Currently procrastinating. Torn between getting ready for the day, having another cup of coffee, reading, or getting some outlining/character bios in before seeing a friend around lunch.

Going through my new anime Blu-Rays, testing them to check they all work. I like to do this ever since my copy of "When Marnie Was There" was faulty. Also my player is kinda funny when it comes to imported discs.

Hmm, I was supposed to just be testing them, but I ended up watching the entirety of the first Blu-Ray...whoops.

Slowly continuing on with the outline revisions for Shadow & Flame, and wondering if I'm wasting my time since a lot tends to change when I officially start typing things up. ^^; Also jotting down side notes for the next round of edits on the WoN Trilogy.

"Since retiring, I've done nothing but go to funerals and I just think 'what am I doing?' That's why I want to make one last film, even if it kills me."
Just watched a documentary about the legendary Japanese film director - Hayao Miyazaki.
Seeing an old man try to embrace technology and struggle to use a Smartpad to draw anime for the first time was very endearing.

But yeah, a fascinating insight into the man's life.

Marathoning an anime called "Konosuba". Basically, it's a parody of the clichéd "sent to another world" trend that's been hitting anime every season for the past five years. Kazuma is reborn into a fantasy world straight out of Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest and aims to be a hero who defeats the Demon King...only for it to go as realistically as you'd expect of a teenage Japanese shut-in to go. Full of wacky characters and good natured fun, easily one of the best comedy animes I've ever seen.

Even the OP is just full of charm and humour. :D

Drinking coffee and listening to music while I wait for kiddo to finish getting ready for the day. Might be watching my friend's dog later on (again; I watched him yesterday) so that the people replacing her windows don't trip over him.

Finished reorganizing furniture in my room, so it's more functional. No longer have shelves on the wall, so had to say bye bye to some of my decorations, but such is life, now I can look forward to less dusting each weekend.
