Virgil used pistols?

Well if he said "Okay,Ill try it your way" Then I would say okay and agree with you. But he added in "for once" meaning he most likely never used a gun in his life. Its like me telling my brother "can you clean up the kitchen for once"<<example,because he never ever cleans the kitchen.
 
^ Not entirely true. "Can you clean the kitchen for once?" may only be said to emphasis how little someone does something... It doesn't mean they have never done it before entirely.
 
Well yeah, but in this case Vergil is defining his self. Which goes alot more then someone else saying it. But after his mother was killed he started to despise humans and almost everything about them(well the common things like emotions and what not.).

Well you know I read that they did base his character off of Vicious from Cowboy Bebop so he may have used guns but at a very early age like 10 or 12. But since they are basing his character off of Vicious then they both really hates to use guns at any cost. But obviously hes not as insane as Vicious.
 
Whatever gets the job done is probs what was going through Vergil's head at the time.

I would like to say that using a handgun is harder than you all seem to think.

The kickback on a 9mm handgun takes some getting used to, and dual weilding is relly, relly, hard.
 
Well Dante and Vergil are born with natural abilities so its easier for them to master human physical traits. Maybe even mental as well if put to use and good effort.
 
so what does that mean?....lol anyway i belive that vergil di use firearms b4 because yeah, theres proof, dante said the line and so did vergil so that means probably that yes, vergil did use guns but 4 a short period of time....after he learned 2 use the summoned swords, he either switched over or kept using guns 2...it has 2 go something like that...:hmmm:
 
Well from the simple fact that the last time he was with Dante he was nine years of age. Now I can't picture their mother letting them run around at such a early age with dangerous weapons such as pistols(but then again they were given the Y/R but as a memento of their father). The jackpot line has to be something they created in their childhood as either some type of power ranger finisher(lol) or just a flashy thing they used to say as kids.

Now didn't Dante state in Devil May Cry 1 "Even as a child I had powers, there's demonic blood in me"... Or something like that...

He's simply implying that It was natural for Dante and Vergil playing with their father's swords, while Sparda and Eva would be having a cup of tea, or whatever.
 
Ok, I thought w were talking about pistols. Anyway yeah I can see them running around with Sparda's swords after all they were given to Dante and Vergil as memento's of him. As I recall didn't Dante and Vergil disliked each other once they reached a certain age. Vergil because he reminded Dante of Sparda and Dante because he felt that Eva favored him and didn't love Vergil as much.

But talking about Vergil using guns, I would love to see him with a set of handguns, or a demonic crossbow shooting concentrated demonic energy...
 
Its in the Manga if that's what you meant by assumption(Well Maybe it isn't cannon anymore but this s a different Manga that probably thrown out. DMC1 Manga btw. It shows Dante and Vergil fighting as kids with Vergil being cocky and losing for it.).

But yeah I guess it would be ok if he used hand guns. But then again i can't imagine it with him being equipped with the Yamato.
 
That's exactly what I meant Dante ;) I thought you'd understand as to what I was implying Zato, but I assumed wrong.
 
Yes, but they also say to go with your instincts. I thought you would understand that even as a child the twins both had the power inside them to fend off great demons. The attacks that is... They didn't have the strength to fight them, only to survive against a strong attack.
