Next DMC at TGS??

So I believe there will be an announcement of a DMC5 eventually. After all, Devil May Cry is one of their best selling brands, I don't think they'll drop it completely.
I don't know, I wouldn't put it past Capcom. Didn't they cancel a hell of a lot of Mega Man games? In any case, they don't seem to care much about DMC's consistency in terms of plot, at least not since DMC4. Nero and his arm just don't make any sense. What I'm trying to say is they have a lot to figure out.

It's possible they're figuring it out right now. I certainly don't expect them to announce a new DMC at TGS, because that would imply they've already started work on it. If they have started work on it, then I'm very afraid for DMC's future, because you don't just think up a story, characters, soundtrack, and gameplay 'just like that'. They need to take their time and come up with something that'll please the majority of their fans. Sadly, they've seemed mostly incompetent at that up to now.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is a possibility, though it's not exactly their priority, since the first wasn't *that* popular.

I'm just sad that both continuities can't exist side-by-side.

In the HD Collection, there's a piece of fanart that has one half of Dante be classic, and the other half be reboot.

*That* guy gets it.

Because some the fandom of both sides are giant douches and wanna ruin it for everyone, and Capcom's too financially unstable and too stupid to just do both.

Well I don't know how to solve that first part,

but the second part can be resolved with "give DMC to somebody else," but that would require a miracle.

September 18 - 21.
Sweeeeeeeeet.
I doubt it would be a dmc game.
+ just saying, there is only so much story you can put into a game. Capcom most likely have files upon files of stuff that got cut because of time restraints.

It's on in a few hours, actually, since Tokyo time, at the moment of this post, is 8:00 am, which means that the doors will open anywhere from, and I'm guessing here, the next 3 to 8 hours. We should be getting trailers and news tonight and tomorrow and going till the weekend.

Well its only the first day.

But it would be SO anticlimactic if there wasn't anything on DMC or DmC like AT ALL.

STANDFAST, BRETHEREN!!! TIS ONLY DAY ONE!!!
But yeah, don't start panicking until the 20th.

Of course they aren't going to say or present anything about DMC or DmC. They have no idea what to do with the franchise, and I'd be very worried if they suddenly came up with a concept for DMC5 or DmC2. They shouldn't rush it, and I'm sure they have more important things to work on. I haven't seen DMC on any list, either. I'm pretty sure a list of all the games scheduled for TGS was already published quite a while ago.

Wasn't something leaked too?
