Nope. I highly doubt Capcom would be doing that. There's too much coverage on DmC (yes, I know it's not a lot but in relativity to other new games coming out) for Capcom to say "This is just a side project guys

Besides, DmC is a reboot. The only thing that'll happen is that if it makes some money, on to the sequel. If it flops, good bye Devil May Cry!

No. DmC is DMC in a parallel world. Parallel world =/= reboot. Two different things man.

How often does Capcom make sense? I've heard this is DMC5, this is a DMC reboot, this is a DMC alternate universe. There is no telling what they'll do, or what future producers plan on doing.

I think people thought that DmC was a smoke screen of sorts for DmC5.
my crossover idea came about as a way for capcom to bring back the fans that left after DmC as it could be something they want.

This is not more than enough consolation for DmC but beggars can't be choosers. 8D OOOOH! Get to play DMC1 again. Might not be that bad a consolation after all! -Will finish three at last!- But really if they make DMC5, can they please, PLEASE continue what's left off in DMC2? I still want to see a better end to it. :| It's ending will forever bother me for being such a cliffhanger.
