the message,i sent you on xbox eas i wanted you to experiment on dmd mission 1 in dmc4 and fight dante without the db in dmd mode dante uses all his attacks from gilgamesh all the kicks nd uppercuts and punches he uses all lucifer moves he uses trickster and he uses royalguard to block you and does rpyal release he does pandora boomerang missile launcher and laser against you he jumps out of your db grabs in the air and shoots you with the shotgun and lots more i just asked you to fight him with ust red queen and blue rose and see what you think

he does more in the second fight and there are ways to beat him without the devil bringer its just an experiment dude so you can see what dmd is like ha i prefer fighting him without tje db as the db gives you a massive advantahe and i like to fight him like a swordsman

Dante can also parry your sword attacks by attacking at the same time as you so watch for that too and the db cant penetrate royalguard if you do decide to use it

lol no im going through on it and s ranking as i go along so that one is gunna be longer then my dmc3 run lol cuz with dmc3 i just have to run through the levels because i already have the s ranking achievement but with dmc4 i have to s rank every diffuculty

table hopper ya but he will dodge too and the guns do nothing as he shoots everytime you pull out your guns
use db if you want dude but i know u like a challenge and he is a challenge on dmd without db but tis up to you how ya fight him there are a few ways

lol dante dodges all your attacks though i normall shoot with blue rose and use the db because he makes it so hard to get him with red queen otherwise how do you fight him?

hes so annoying to fight fun but annoying

annoying becomes frustrating on dmd unless you have the know how you can actually kill him in about 20-30 seconds if the fight flows the right way for you

dante actually does better than vergil on very hard and dmd dude as he is more versatile vergil doesnt respond as well in the harder waes but its up to you who ypu wanna use

Dante certainly has the better versatility and I would also find him a bit better for DMD (quicksilver for some areas lol....., and against Vergil's DT) but both characters are perfectly capable of doing DMD/VMD, just Dante's slightly better at it than Vergil is.

Still honestly, give me Air Hike with Vergil and I will be 100% happy with his movelist lol (it's the only issue I have with Vergil's movelist, Air Hike just has so many uses).

agreed!!!!! i would kill for vergil having air hike..and maybe just a bit more range and versatility with yamato (but that one isnt a huge deal)

Eh, that's the only thing I think he really needs ( he's still really good without it, just it would help so much). If I was being a bit greedy with my wishlist, I would ask for a another way to float in the air than only Yamato's Aerial Rave (it's nowhere as good as Dante's E&I, and it moves you too far forward in the animation for my liking) and make it so his recovery frames on Yamato's Uppercut Slash (I think that's the name, it's R1, back and Y) as the recovery on that move is so horrendous I barely touch it unless there is only one enemy left.

if you use the upper cut slash and then darkslayer backwards dash and then judgement cut and taunt you can continue without really needing to recover

Even more effective lol i personally love the uppercut slash its one of my fav moves for vergil
