Half truth, Bayonetta sold poorly at launch yes but it had a noticeable crowd. It was just Sega that had money problems and didn't want to invest in what they deemed a "risky investment" even though Platinum wanted to make the sequal.

I have a general dislike for DmC but I don't outright hate it. I can see what Ninja Theory wants to make, it's just the wrong serie to do that with.
If the old DMC ran parallel to DmC would you be less annoyed about it? Not being a troll btw I am just curious... if both series were going it could be beneficial.

It would be the best outcome as everyone would be happy and less hate would be shoved onto DmC. Perhaps if NT and Capcom worked together on a DMC5 with NT doing story and facial animation etc. and Capcom doing all the gameplay they could have a recipe for epicness!
