You could say so. It's funny cause Peyton Manning is a Republican supporter yet even he feels Ann deserves to be torn a new one.
I had no idea Gawker had shut down. That is some good news right there.

Gawker is one of those extreme clickbait sites right?
    Teal
    Teal
Correct, but that's not their only sin. No, they launched "Gawker stalker" a sort of app that let people pinpoint places which celebrities frequent and pulled out all sorts of shenanigans that encouraged stalking and celebrity shaming. Their downfall came in the form of Hulk Hogan, who sued them for releasing his sex tape to the public. They had to pay a 140 million fee for damages and, consequently, file bankruptcy.

Good riddance I say, you'd think the people who work at Gawker would have some semblance of morality.
Whenever people ask me why I don't read manga, I respond with Usagi Drop.

    You too are the victim?
I didn't give up on manga, but will never ever again read a slice of life story about a man adopting a little girl. It's apparently an old culture thing, raising your own bride, or so I heard. The author for some reason likes to do a stupid twist like that at the end.

Read/watch "Sweetness & Lightning". It's similar to Usagi Drop, but actually done right.

@Blackquill, I will do the anime, thanks for the recommendation. I would have found it myself if I didn't grow so out of touch with the anime medium recently.

Never listened to much Garbage, but my personal favorite song by them is "Queer". I've always enjoyed Metal Gear's songs that have Donna Burke singing.

^ On one of the MGS CDs they have all of the theme songs for each game remixed and sung by Donna Burke.

I'm also digging "I'll Keep Coming" by Low Roar, the music to his Death Stranding trailer.

Come to think about it, Demolition Man may be a better Batman vs. Joker story than The Dark Knight.

Brutal vigilante cop goes after a career criminal/psychopath with weird hair, a psychopath whom the police department are too inept to nail down. Also, said psychopath is hired by another crook but double crosses him in the end.

The whole cryo prison thing is very Captain America, but there are far more similarities to Batman and The Dark Knight.

And he who controls the franchises, controls the future of gaming. Gaming has changed. When the franchises are under total control, addictive and unsatisfying "free" games...become routine.

I think they haven't gotten to the beating yet, but if this game sees the light of day, then they've accomplished the first step to beating a dead horse - killing it!

I'd like to check it out too. It's from the same guy who did the Evil Dead remake, and any real Evil Dead fan would tell you that was awesome. They even got the chick who played Mia in here. Speaking of Mia, I think it would be cool to see her appear on Ash Vs. Evil Dead.

I read somewhere that the director made this movie as a response to those who undermined his skills because the Evil Dead remake was too gory and, more importantly, was a remake. So, he decided to make a movie that was reliant on suspense and featured no gore.
Throw The Question in the DCEU! Also, have Josh Hartnett play him!

@Chancey289 call it wishful thinking, but I really believe DCEU can and will improve over time. We're just gonna have to let them figure out that cutting corners is not the way to go and that churning out mediocre movies may not negatively affect their box office right now, but will do so in the future.

Let me just interrupt this parade of Suicide Squad by reminding you all Kevin Spacey's playing a man trapped inside a domestic cat.
I'm really bummed that Suicide Squad is not getting good reviews, but petitioning to shut down RT because of that is not the way to go.

I don't think the fanboys know that not only is RT just a site that compiles reviews to show off an overall consensus (they don't write ANY reviews themselves), but it's also partially owned by Warner Bros.
You know, I'd be a lot more appreciate of this site's status bar if the staff (or whoever's in charge) extended/eliminated the character lim

Steve Powell is the admin and the creator of this site. The site itself uses XenForo, which recently enough had updates to allow new reply tools and the ability to like profile post comments. Unless the character limit was increased in the software itself, then this place will always have the same character limit for statuses.

Dude, this is a forum, not a blog, status is for something really short and if you need to go into details use the corresponding thread in the forum.

I think another point to consider is the status update window. If everyone posted really long messages, you'd be having to scroll down a lot on the page just to read it all, and it'd look untidy. But anyway, I'm not lecturing you on your thoughts, just lending my insight.
Ego: The Living Planet is Starlord's Dad in GoTG 2 and is played by Kurt Russell. I never saw that coming.

Robert Downey Jr. will be 54 years old by the time Infinity Wars ends. It's time Marvel introduces Riri to the MCU and have Tony lean back.

@Chancey289, I know 54 is not old, but it does mean he'll be old by the time Phase 4 rolls out. You can see age slightly taking a toll on him during Civil War. He's only going to get more wrinkly from here on, and I think I speak for everyone when I say no recast. So, logically, I'd be better if they introduced a new character altogether.

I'm not too sure on Riri yet but them working towards a bookend with the characters in Infinity wars would be ideal.

I'm not suggesting they just poof Stark out of existence. I'm saying they need to have his role reduced gradually with each movie so that when Downey becomes unable to play him, he can quit without much of a fuss. And yes, while Riri is just another temporary, experimental brainchild of Marvel Comics, I think her role would be a fresh and welcomed addition to the MCU.
I'm worried that the MCU Spider Man movie is gonna be too concerned with being PC to actually be good.

The casting choices are arbitrary but I think the bigger problem is trying to find new ground to walk for MCU Spidey cause Amazing is still fresh snd mined his high school Era pretty well.

What in particular are you worried about it being too PC?

@Blackquill, I feel as if they're throwing away quality actors in favor of a largely "inept" diverse cast. By inept, I mean people with little to zero experience on the silver screen. They cast that girl from Disney XD in what's been described as a major role. Another thing is; they're getting rid of iconic characters. It's bothering me.
