  • Well, in the hopes of avoiding spoilers, I'm gonna TRY to stay away from here for a bit. I emphasis 'try' because I got a habit of logging back on here every few seconds like Facebook.
......So anybody see the final trailer? Just....whoa

    *spoiler ahead*

Anybody who hasn't or doesn't want to *spoiler warning*. Whelp, if you weren't sure Vergil was in it before, we can be now. Also, omg we saw Eva in a flashback :'(

I doubt the trailer went spoiler heavy, it has some spoilers, but I doubt it's the whole game.
*Possible spoiler warning* So uhhh, anybody see the music video? Cause.........Was that Nelo Angelo?

Its titled Fractured Angelo. That could be a misnomer tho.
Replaying DMC4. Anybody besides me love to use Nero's Devil Bringer as a finisher on bosses? Especially when Devil Triggered?
I replayed the demo twice, I gotta stop, otherwise, the mission in the full game is gonna be boring lol.

Me too! I found all the hidden orbs (except the one by the horse) which was fun but took way too friggin long. I'm playing it for a third time tonight and focus on Sssssstyle. And I've got to figure out how to beat Goliath without getting slapped/stomped silly (ie no damage). There's so much win in replaying the demo and messing around with all the (limited) stuff, for me at least. I suck at games, so.
Did the site just update? I just had to login for the first time in like a year

Yeah, it migrated from vBulletin to xenForo, then upgraded to xenForo 2.0. Next update is 2.1.
So every once-in-awhile I sit back and watch a movie I hear is terrible, just cause bad movies can be entertaining in how stupid/bad they are. Tonight, I'm watching That's My Boy. Not gonna lie, the way Adam Sandler says "But incest is f#$ked up!" is legit kinda funny. Just the voice lol
Sooo I spent the last 2 days binge watching Goblin Slayer. I got a new anime character to add to the favorites list, dude's a badass. I get how some people can be put off by the violence, and to those people I say.....Stay the f@$k away from Berserk...Either version!

Goblin Slayer, to me, feels like a series trying too hard to be edgy, where as Berserk somehow kept it all natural. The MC; Goblin Slayer, feels empty and dull. Even serious characters have SOME type of charisma. GS just doesn't for me.

Well that's the idea DragonMaster, he's dedicated so much of his life to slaying goblins, he's pretty much given up his humanity to become a single-minded killing machine. The idea is his party helps rehumanize him, slowly but surely.

I guess that makes sense. Still, GS feels very barron in personality; whether humanize or not.
So, my first encounter with a Zombie, I fired two shots, both got it in the head.....but the f#$ker was actually crawling around like 10 seconds later! Zombies in RE2 are tough b@$+@rd$

This is why more often than not zombie games/movies take me out of the experience. It doesn't make sense, even in their realm of fiction. Zombies are rotting corpses or sick people that should be considerably weaker than a normal, healthy person. Single ones should not pose a threat, ever.

Their strength should always only be in their numbers, not in their nonsensical ability to withstand crippling injuries or in the case of the worst offenders, even overpowering sane, alive dudes. I always roll my eyes at that. One of the few cases where zombie like creatures were done well was 28 Days Later. As raging, insane, but otherwise relatively "healthy" people, those guys are a credible threat.

I agree, and I like how they do come out of nowhere to jump scare you or bite you. Awesome work, Capcom!
So Black Panther got nominated for best picture. It annoys me how mixed I am about this. On one hand, a superhero movie got nominated for best picture, and I loved Black Panther. But when I think about so many other, imo, better movies that got snubbed. It really annoys me

I do hope it wins, just so we can finally say we have a superhero film that won. But when I think about how The Dark Knight, Logan, Wonder Woman, and Captain America: Winter Soldier were just scoffed at. I feel really annoyed

I'm mixed too. Part of me wants BP to win because of the many naysayers it would potentially trigger, but tbh the movie's barely genuine Oscar material, even though I enjoyed every second of it. It had a strong direction, an amazing track and compelling characters, but it also had issues with pacing and VFX. There are undoubtedly better contenders fpr the award this year.
    Innsmouth

I can only second this. I liked the movie, but amount of comic movies that are much better is huge. It's fun movie, but it's not Dark Knight and not even X-men 2 for me. Not mentioning some flaws in narrative and in effects area.
So I was watching all of Marvel's netflix shows in release order (going at it with a snail's pace tbh) but I goofed. After Punisher, was Iron Fist season 2......but I watched Jessica Jones season 2 instead.

Well no not in connection to the movies. But the shows are all connected. What with the Defenders, and Claire appeared in all four shows before The Defenders, Luke Cage appeared in Jessica Jones before his own show, and Punisher appeared in Daredevil before his

I'd say you would watch Luke Cage before IF season 2. Outside of those two the other shows don't touch upon each other so the order of viewing doesn't matter. TBH I thought IF season 2 improved by leaps and bounds over season 1 so I'd recommend it.

Daredevil is still the cream of the crop so I'd watch that first tho.
So I finally saw Venom (not from lack of trying) and honestly it wasn't as good as I was hoping. But it was way better than the critics were saying. I think for the sequel, they should go the extra mile for an R rating
If Carnage is the villain, he'll be a lot better then Riot

Venom, despite its quality, made more than 800 million in box office, which tells me that a critics word is no longer valuable.

I know right. Venom outgrossed both of Deadpool's movies, all the X-Men movies, and most of Spider-Man's.
So Aquaman is half Atlantean and half human. Does only being half Atlantean give him any major physiological differences from a full Atlantean, or are Atlantean genes more dominant to the point that there's no difference between a full Atlantean and a half Atlantean?
    DragonMaster2010
    DragonMaster2010
Arthur is unique due to his mother I think. Because he's half human and half atlantean it probably mixes his genes more so than any normal atlantean.
So I saw The Predator, mixed, I'm very mixed on it. Some entertaining parts, but some things, got me scratching my head.....Like it more then Predator 2, but the first and third movies are definitely better.
