So? DMC3 story wise was before DMC1. This means they have to clean up anything story based after DMC1 since DMC1 created conflicts with the story of DMC3 or vice versa...

But your missing one huge point though. DMC4 was officially stated by Capcom to be a few months after the DMC Anime. The Anime is 1 year after DMC1. This is what I was trying to stack up with that interview I posted. Dante is roughly 29/30 in DMC4 is basically what I am saying. In early 2007...

That just says hes in his 30s. Its a year before the final interview anyway. Capcom has stated and implied more then once that DMC4 is 10 years after DMC3 and that its about 1 year after DMC1. Capcom even admitted to changing the original story line in DMC4 because Dante wasn't a playable...

Capcom has stated that Lady is 10 years older then she was in DMC3 putting her in her late 20's in DMC4 same with Dante. Capcom has also stated that DMC4 is a few months after DMC Anime and that the Anime is a few months after DMC1.

Game play wise then yes it obviously would be better but when we get to the story then who knows. DmC story wasn't anything close to amazing. It was a very bland and decent story. But who knows P* could probably do worse.

The biggest complaints included Nero's gameplay and him being limited unlike Dante in that very same game that out shined him by miles. I've never seen anyone praise Nero's combat in the same sentence as DMC4 Dante's because there is no way that you can. The only thing I remember casual players...

I totally forgot about this. I do remember a lot of developers leaving Capcom after DMC4 but I didn't know they went to P*, at least most of them. I only knew a few that joined P*. I just find it odd that even the story writer of DMC3/4 quit the series after DMC4 and no longer wanted to work...

Did this really need a thread? If anything Bayonetta was DMC5 because that game plays a lot more similar to DMC then MGR does. MGR plays nothing like DMC. Its just in the same genre as Hack N Slash buts its a sub genre if even that.
