Yeah, but that long hair version is just a costume. Besides, his short hairstyle goes with the theme of DmC, it's not short ''because he's younger''. You don't suddenly get long hair after the age of eighteen or something :S Besides, the whole point of the reboot is that it's not the same as DMC, so I really doubt Dante will turn into DMC1 or DMC4 Dante.
EDIT: wow. People saying ''I got what I wanted'' after they ****ed off somebody. More proof that some people enjoy being inconsiderate.
I thought the point was to ask why NT got so much flaming over DmC, not to descend into a bitching and arguing fest.
It's not just a costume it narratively makes sense, the game defaults to it once you beat the game. I mean obviously they couldn't just throw a sequel. Hell, compare that the hair from the regular DmC Dante, then the dante you use once you beat the game, and then DMC3 Dante costume. Do you not see how they would naturally grow out his hair and how'd he look in a future DmC game.
Also, like I said, he will grow more carefree, being more carefree implies you let your hair grow out, cuz you know you don't care about stuff like that. You got better **** to do. The long hair is supposed to show change so yeah he went from the punk in mission 1 to if there was a DmC2 more of a classic carefree Dante. This was supposed to be his origin story.
Apparently, this is what they like seeing. They like calling people's opinions 'idiotic', then calling that person a whiner when he calls them out for it. Sorry, just my view. Kind of sick of this c.rap. I've seen it happen before, and I think I'm not going to be part of this nonsense any longer.

Yeah...I guess. I mean, I just don't see DMC5 coming after the reboot, but one of the Capcom person did say something like they would see how DmC performed and would see if DMC5 was possible or nothing. That is what gives me 1% hope that there may be a next iteration in DMC franchise.

No, I don't think that was the case, either, but what I meant was: once everything has been said about the topic, some people start looking for trouble. It's happened before.
And I got that answer in the earlier post. The rest was predictable flaming and I like to watch the world burn with my popcorn in hand.
It's a generalization based on the subtext behind most of the arguments that continue to be brought up here. I mean it all boils down to he said this, they showed this, and its not about the hair, but that wig joke was a slap in the face.
They said something along the lines of not shutting the door on classic DMC. So there is always the possibility that they will revert back to a DMC5. But considering that report where they're blaming outsourcing games to foreign or outside companies, who knows what will happen next.
I think, fine, if people want to get angry at Tameem, then do it, but don't let what he said colour the opinion of the game. Watch a few videos of the game and then make a choice. If the game is honestly terrible, then don't get it. Simple as. It's just so silly to be throwing around these kind of arguments when it's been over half a year since the game was out. I would have thought people had moved on from this now...

Then there's the slides on Famitsu that show Ninja Theory (or whoever else) think their own opinion is the only right one - Dante vs Fight Club, with Fight Club saying ''cool'' and ''stylish'', implying the old DMCs were not. Tameem saying he doesn't give a s.hit about what people think of their game, etc etc. Yeah, it's not that odd to see NT getting criticized.
