Who/How do you think the mysterious DmC girl will turn out to be?

Nah, on a more serious note, I don't think Capcom finds Dante's sexuality an important issue, really. Nero's sexuality was obviously hetero, as he fights to free Kyrie whom he loves which just turned him into a cliché. Sometimes it is better to leave the fans guessing and make their own conclusions.

Also, all in all, it really doesn't matter if Dante is gay or straight. It wouldn't add to his character either way, because it isn't important. And I think a romance between Dante and any character would just ruin alot rather than be any good.

I don't want to go into a discussion about his sexuality so let's keep it short: DMC is a game that people play not a porn movie or a romantic story. So i agree Capcom don't find it important and why would anyone?

With that said Dante in DMC 4 clearly loved the view of the two demons. And he's commented on Lady in DMC 3. And he hangs with Trish alot of times. For someone who likes females i would be surprised if Dante is gay.

I'm gay and I like many women, I have many female friends. And I can comment on their looks without meaning anything sexual by it. So I don't really see your point.

That doesn't prove anything. He merely broke the personal sphere to make a point to Lady, that he isn't dangerous or the enemy and that he will help her.
 
Well you are gay that is why you interpret these things differently. Or wish for that.
Though it can be discuessed there is little signs of Dante being gay.

For your sake i don't mind if he was.
 
No, I interpret things the way I do because I am me. Not because I am gay. Other gay men would most likely interpret it differently than I do, because they are different from me.

That's besides the topic though. Though I hope the hooded girl will be part of the main gameplay, I do not wish to see some romance flowering between her and Dante.

oh come on, he played her like the confused monster that she is, and there's no way of telling if he ever came back from hell, but i doubt if he did come back he would look for her anyways
 
Off topic, would people care about gay characters being in dmc or it's a non issue?
I'm not talking about making straight characters gay. Just making two new characters who happened to be gay?
 
I have no problems with homosexuality or any kind of diversity in any medium. What I hate are offensive stereotypes of any kind. (Micheal Bay films) If a character is gay, I don't need him covered in glitter any more than I want to see an angry ebonics spewing black guy or a ditzy, hot female character who does nothing but run in slow motion and scream.

Indeed, and if Dante was gay, he would definately not prove to be a stereotype, but alot more casual. Like me, actually. I'm not one who you can guess is gay at first, like those who are feeding the stereotype. -.-

Indeed, I really dislike Kyrie. She's the Princess Peach of DMC. Bleh...

Wait, are you telling me that gay guys, black guys and hot chicks aren't like that in real life!? I suppose that means my gay, black and female friends were right! I guess I should go apologize...
