I don't think DMC has anything to do with yaoi. Its about brutal slaying and mercilessness.

Actually, I played DMC to know vergil in the game and wondered why was he not the protagonist but dante. But later found dante's combat was unique and countered vergil's moves of katana and vergil was portrayed as a dark character. I realised i was dark when i sought vergil and playing as dante somewhat controlled the darkness in me. But don't think even dante can help me now.

It's different being a "fan" and liking things[Yaoi etc] and it's a completely different thing being a "fanboy"[for the males] or a "fujoshi/fangirl"[for the females].As long as you are not loopy and etc etc[long-4$$ list of fanboy/fangirl/fujoshi traits] it's all fine and dandy.

I am into japanese entertainment for their real time attitude and bold characters but can't figure how can someone have a twisted view on such concepts. I ai'nt gonna comment much on it(YAOI).I think they need a "spanking from daddy".

Oh I could mind less; this person didn't bother me at all, and everything I heard about them was from a friend and their friends who were having some trouble with this person because of her jealousy. So we got into a discussion about the reasons why Thailand bans certain types of manga from Japan. My point was, I think this particular 'fujoshi' is an exception; after all, ten years of mooching about all over the net and getting to know plenty of fans of yaoi/slash, this is the first one I've met that's genuinely a bit unhinged. But like I said 'apparently'. I never had any trouble from her personally... being a yaoi fan has nothing to do with being nuts in the first place. I do reckon yaoi isn't much different from any other type of fandom, including making fanfiction. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it as long as someone appreciates it's just for personal entertainment. Although I hear things said jokingly about 'yaoi cults' and so on... well, each to their own.

I wouldn't begrudge anyone their bubble. Hell, I live in cloud cuckoo land myself.
