Oh gods, that gave me a scare. When everything but your computer can access the 'net, and your computer is the only tool that can be used for your most important tasks (and of course, some of the leisure ones, too) the last thing you want is your internet tech support telling you is that it might be a driver issue.

Please, please don't do that again. You're only two years old--I need you to keep on working, baby. :'( Yes, I have an attachment to my laptop. Stop judging me. ;_;

Hmm... Should I give myself a couple more days off, or should I just tuck into FotS's edits, already? At this point, I don't know if the need is steeped in keeping up with NaNo, or if it's because no matter how productive I am with other tasks, a day without writerly work still feels like a day wasted. :unsure: A little bit of both, I guess.

+My lower back hates me. Raking the front yard can wait (and since I lack a place to put all the leaves, it's going to have to, anyway; back pain or no).

Hmmm... I'm debating on whether or not I should have her apologize to him now and get the character interaction out of the way, or wait till near the end of the journey to say she's sorry and that she doesn't want to go on adventures anymore. I'll have to discuss this with him.

I just finished up Horizon : Zero Dawn. It was great. The world was interesting , Aloy, the main protagonist was a joy to explore the world with, and I rather enjoyed the story when things got going.

@LordOfDarkness It seems to be the case for a lot of people, lately. O_O Though I suppose the forum usually goes through its ebbs and flows.

CT: Nostalgia is such a funny animal. It's so strange how there are things that imprint on your mind and are precisely as you remember them, while at the same time your more experienced side is able to understand so much more than you could, and in turn, changes the way you perceived other aspects of the same thing.

+You know, taking this little jaunt down memory lane has left me inspired. Perhaps once the WoN Trilogy, Shattered Time, and The Spectrum Chronicles are concluded, I can work on some middle-grade books. I think we all could use a reminder of more innocent times, the ability to see through young eyes again. ^^

Never trust when your hair stylist says they memorized the picture you gave them, mine went scissor happy and took a bit more off then he should have. The up side is that I won't be hot or have hair getting in the way when working, the down side is that I look like a dude and tomorrow we're getting picture taken at work.

I look like a dude

Consider yourself lucky, as a kid, my evil barber would ALWAYS give me some monk/San Francis hairstyle and I was the joke of the school. :grumpy:

People should know that opposing the elbow in the right spot of an assaulter's limb during an attack hurts him like hell. Yet almost no self defense course I've seen mentions it. Focus less on fancy complicated moves those people would need months to properly learn and absorb, and more on simple stuff that they can remember and don't need to practice a lot to understand and use well.
