Due to Monday being a holiday here, it was a four-day work week. Kiddo stayed home sick for two of those, finally got to go to school yesterday...and naturally, the buses are cancelled today. Good grief... :dead:

If you tell about the live action, as movie (without considering anime&manga) is pleasant.
Considering anime&manga , NO , absolutly NO , and yet NO. I know that they used only japanese actors , but at least do to act a blond actor in the role of Armin, one of main characters.

Right? Like it Would've been oh so simple to dye Armin's hair. I thought he was Erin when the movie first started... At least Hange was a highlight. The actress was so damn over the top and I liked it!

Yeah , the actress of Mikasa is "perfect" : is the same of anime. Anyway this is the problem when you make an anime/manga with occidental lineament and in the live action use only oriental actors.

Active Raid is the only series I know so far where focusing on individuals from main cast makes the story boring. The control freak vs his ex and the train fetishist really killed their respective episodes.

I wish I knew how people did it. Distancing themselves from fiction and reality. I know the distinction, but I cannot help but get riled up when I see characters I am attached to go through hell through no fault of their own. Even extras who are caught in the crossfire elicit a response from me.

This happens very infrequently when it comes to popular media, but when the subject shifts to the characters I or people I know create, I suddenly become very sensitive and introverted. I can hardly stand the thought of putting them through such things, and yet I do it anyway, or I permit them to through inaction.

Just recently I read a short story detailing the lead-up to a character I helped make get arrested. Said character had no control over their body when in combat, and a misfire from a trembling, scared out of his wits rookie triggered an automatic response that shot the nameless first-dayer in the head. For some reason the death of this nameless individual who was clearly out of his depth hurt me more than the character I created being arrested in the first place, almost like I was the cause of his death.

Perhaps I am emotionally stunted, or tired. But I cannot deny it is an issue at this point.

Always find it amusing that in American films involving the possible demise of the English prime minister, it's all taken very seriously.

Whereas in reality, no one would give a monkeys.

Probably would only make third page of The Independent.

Only five more chapters of TMT to micro-edit. Honestly, I don't see it needing any large-scale fixes/changes. Definitely no scene rewrites or adds. At the most, possibly more trimming? And even then, doubtful I'll need to trim overly much.

+Thank gods this cold or whatever has nearly run its course. I kinda missed breathing through my nose. :dead:

Funerals are a funny thing. A lot of religion, but that can't be helped. Though it did bug me that Jesus got twice the number of mentions compared to the actual deceased. Naturally, I refrained from singing, didn't want anyone going deaf.

Thankfully the rain held off during the service. There was a good turnout as well. Tears flowed from everyone but me, but then I'm emotionally dead inside. It's strange, I learned more about Granny in that 5 minute eulogy than I did in 23 years of knowing her. I knew she was a sporty lady, but never had I thought she was an Auxiliary Firewoman during WWII.

Anyway, it was a good opportunity to finally say goodbye to her, seeing as I wasn't able to visit her in her final days. Farewell~

Managed to beat Nioh and The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past last night. Nioh was a fun game that managed to find the balance between challenge and rewarding that I didn't feel when I tried out Bloodbourne. And A Link To The Past is a fun walk through history that was a perfect choice for me to play before Breath of The Wild comes out.

One poster on the CBR forums talked Green arrow have some low level mystical powers. He or she used the show Taboo as a reference and i thought that would be cool.

I also wanted to see Green Arrow reimagined as Quincy from Bleach. I wish i was an artist.

I think hawkeye is a better trained character than GA.
