I can relate (waiting on a couple of things still, myself). ^^
CT: Hmm...I wonder what the chances are of there being another bus cancellation tomorrow? We did get those snow squalls from midday until nightfall, and we've gotten some freezing rain on top of it, so...looks like I'll be checking online first thing in the a.m. to be sure.

I'm freelancing with my dad for some tax related work and whenever their old friends show up for tax work my mom starts to say all these nice things about their kids and how handsome the men are and how pretty the girls are and all I can think is 'why aren't you complementing ME? Don't complement me when I'm not around, da hell good does it do me when I can't hear it!!??'

Yeah, but this is the "dark side of the moon": women have wombs. If cloning techniques work , they can maintain their existence without men. ( for some millennia). All their need is to rip some part of their DNA , generate some embryos or even having babies and kill male children, before or after birth, just like some civilizations did before.This would require from their part cold blood and cleverness, but I doubt if they have any.

Sadly, I agree. So far, I have notes spanning from 1170 to the early 1300's, and in that time, there were no fewer than Nine Crusades, the Mongols invaded hell knows how many countries, rulers between England and Scotland were constantly on the warpath, and yes, the Jews were being oppressed and ostracized in several different countries.
History is filled with bloodshed borne of inflated egos and people not being able to get it through their thick skulls to leave other people and their beliefs well enough alone. The Holocaust is but another rung in the ladder of tragedy (yet no less terrible).
As far as being "inhuman" goes, I think they mean to compare it against what we supposed "civilized" types should be doing. We should be showing compassion, understanding, and respect to our fellows--and everything else stuck on this rock with us. We should be, and some people are; I guess it is those individuals who set the standard on "human" and "inhuman", which I'm all for. War-mongers are a dime a dozen; I'd much rather emulate the minority.

So I'm watching the newest Lupin III anime, and I'm thinking about how great it would be to have a modern Lupin III video game. But sadly, outside of a couple of arcade-y games that never left Japan, the dream still hasn't been realised.

That is psychotic. That is genuinely insane. You'd do that to your own son? To your father? To your brother? To your husband or lover? Turn him into some kind of accessory. You'd enslave, castrate, and torture your child? Take his freedom, his individuality, his sexuality, and all that makes him who he is just because you are not woman enough, human enough, to accept him for who he is but for what you want him to be turned to. That isn't just literally insane, it's evil. These women really only love themselves, don't they? They are a bunch of sexist, racist, bigots who think just because they redefine the words with elegant language that they can use them as their defense. The funny part is that when they end up alone, childless and without the love of a man they're just going to keep blaming everyone but themselves.
There was a PS2 Lupin. I own it but for the life of me I can't find it.
The one I want to play is Futurama for the PS2 but it got really expensive.
