Only 30 more minutes.

WTF this new Maroon 5 song is stupid. Way to go, Adam. You should totally do a duet with Nicki Minaj.

Just breathe. Only 29 more minutes to go. Then McD's. Then drop him off at his house. Then Minecraft for the kids and down time for me. Maybe I'll even get some writing in. Yesssss.

No, if they hadn't been moving to another island, there's no way I'd have suggested another sleepover.

The frequency of typos and general errors in this book make me really question a few things. 1) Whether the author bothered to do any editing of her own beforehand, or if by this (the fourth book) she was too damn tired to care, 2) If the same can be said of any editors she has, and 3) How and why did the publishing house let so many of them slip through?

No, seriously. I have found about ten errors so far--most of which are typos--and I'm maybe halfway through the book. :cautious:

While recess was going on i noticed several of the kids were using the Internet on their phones. It made me reflect on how technology has progressed in a much different way then i expected. Growing up i always assumed that computers would get smaller until they were portable. While we did get laptops, i never expected mobile phones to transform into mini-computers with a variety of apps. Though having tried one of these "smartphones", things like typing are kinda inconvenient for me at least.

Anyway, i look forward to seeing how technology evolves in the future.

It evolved or regressed in this case. Some parents who believe that watching over their kids while chatting with their friends about some stupid stuff is too much work. So they came up with a braclet that you slap on your kids wrist. And it connects to your phone via bluetooth. And when the child leaves the premetir the bracket beeps and you get q message on your phone.

Well that explains it. She didn't go through Simon and Schuster this time--she self-published. I wonder why she couldn't take it from a trilogy to a larger series without ending her contract with them?

It's because everyone involved realized that only people like you and me care. The vast majority of people don't care about the proper use of commas and such. :'(

That, and she didn't go through the publishing house this time. ^^; Self-published this one. According to one of her updates (from when she'd still been working on it) a lot of editing and proofing had been performed. O_o Boggles the mind how it wound up with so many errors, in spite of that.

But honestly? Yeah, I think there's truth to what you say; the standards seem to be slipping. :frown:

And he sells armors. LOL!

I like to say random things like, "I'd like to be you for a day. But I can't be you for a day, because then who would be me?". It's just stupid nonsensical rubbish that gives me my own self pleasure. Not everybody gets it, or finds it humorous. But I get it and I find it funny so it's worth saying it. Regardless of any odd looks I get off people.

My point? Do whatever makes you happy and makes you smile. Anything that just boosts up your spirits and makes you more cheerful and forget about all of those who "just don't get you", because they're not worth worrying about.
