Yeah it is, though dont know how many traditions etc they share with each other.

Lol, couldn't tell you; I never had one. Though from what I've seen, a lot of bachelorette's go out to the bar with their friends wearing cheap costume tiaras and feather boas and stuff, get smashed (usually a lot of people will treat the bachelorette to drinks-which also happens to people who come of age for drinking) and in some cases, the bachelorette and her friends go to a male strip club, or may hire one for a house party. Or so they show you that lastin movies, lol.

Hmm? Can you post fanfiction to the NaNo site when NaNoWriMo is over? And ooh! Are you posting it to FF.Net?

CT: COFFEE! :inlove:

Edit: Also, now that I've finished watching FMA, I feel inclined to watch the remake, Brotherhood. In the last year alone, I've had a lot more exposure to anime than I had in previous years-meanwhile, the only ones on t.v. here are all the same, regurgitated tropes...

How did I not see half of these, before? O_O

You can't post anything on the NaNo site (unfortunately the just do word counters), but I will be slowly posting it on FFN when it's complete. ^^ (Or when it's half done and I'm too impatient to hold off on posting any more. >_>)

I'm having the same thing happen with anime/manga lately. x_x I'm trying not to get too into many series because it's so expensive, but there's a lot of really good series out there. ._.

Edit: Now that I think about it, you probably could post a fic in the NaNo forums...not sure if you're supposed to though.

I shall patiently wait until you're ready to post it, then. I still haven't gotten passed my withdrawal of Black Butler (Monochrome Kiss likes to randomly pop into my head to remind me of how sad I am, lol).

I know, eh? I only own a couple on DVD (Love Hina, the entire first season of Pokémon for my daughter, and DMC; I also have Final Fantasy: Unlimited, but it...well, it's okay, but if I'd known what it was like beforehand, I probably wouldn't own it, lol). Mostly, I watch them online; if I like them well enough, I slowly seek them out. I have yet to buy Soul Eater or Black Lagoon or anything (my husband has Trigun on his computer, thanks to a co-worker of his, but I'd like it on DVD, personally). There are so many that we get on t.v. here that you can tell are geared more toward kids, so when I found the wonderful world of adult anime via the internet, I was like, "Ooh, gimme!"

When it comes to manga, I'll probably be more selective, just because of how many there are, depending on a series. O_O Still, people have wasted their money on far worse things; if it's something we derive enjoyment from, and as long as we put our other finances first, what's the harm, right? ^^ That said...it's going to take me a long time, lol.

Yay. ^^ Unless you wanna help be a beta or an alpha reader. ;) Haha, Die Hasen keeps popping into my head and is driving me nuts. XD *doesn't think having themes in your head makes you sad**really cannot get Death Note's themes out of her head to save her life*

Ah, you have more than I do, tbh. *has Batman TAS, Teen Titans, BB, DN, DMC, and Neon Genesis: Evangelion, but would really, really like more**wonders if the Soul Eater anime is any good* I think a lot of places only get anime/cartoons geared toward kids cuz most people associate animated shows with children's shows. I remember the first time I played DN for mum she looked about ready to die when I said I wanted to watch anime and then ended up loving it when she got used to it. *thinks people who haven't been exposed to the more adult animes don't know what to categorize them as and so they just avoid putting them out there because they don't know how to promote them* And then people who like anime go nuts with lub to find that there is actually anime for adults when they discover it. :p

*nods* Yeah, I think about that with manga, as well. ("500 chapters? Uh...I think I'll just...wait on reading that...." x_x) If a series is like...monster size, it kinda scares me. Yep! I spend most of my time broke, but I think, if you've got a little extra money and you love something, why not? I mean...we gotta have some fun in our lives. >_> Otherwise we'll go nuts, right? :bored:

Lol, not pathetic sad, but "Oh my god, what am I going to do without it?" sad. And DN got stuck in my head for awhile there, too. In fact, just thinking about it brought back...I think the first theme song they used for it? That was the one I liked, lol.

Awww...I would beta, except I'm pretty sure I'm not qualified to. ^^; I've thought about doing it in the past, but I keep thinking I'd do more harm than help.

Ah, you have more than I do, tbh. *has Batman TAS, Teen Titans, BB, DN, DMC, and Neon Genesis: Evangelion, but would really, really like more**wonders if the Soul Eater anime is any good*

I have some other ones I don't even really know that my husband picked up (Cyber City, a disc with a handful of episodes of Evangelion, another I can't even name, since I haven't bothered looking at it, lol. I have some non-anime ones, like the first season of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and the Iron Man cartoon from the 80's and 90's, but that's about it. ^^; I have only two manga, which you know of, lol.

Oh, and the Soul Eater anime is pretty good, though I've heard some people aren't as crazy about it, due to how it ends (and preference toward the manga). If you ever watch it, let me know what you think. I've never read the manga myself, so I don't know how they compare. ^^;

I think a lot of places only get anime/cartoons geared toward kids cuz most people associate animated shows with children's shows. I remember the first time I played DN for mum she looked about ready to die when I said I wanted to watch anime and then ended up loving it when she got used to it.

Did pretty much the same thing with the DMC anime and my mom; since she forgets things a lot, I wind up telling her pretty often that there are anime geared toward children, teens, adults, and then, there's the pornographic variety, hentai. I don't even bother explaining to my step-dad, because the moment he sees something is animated, he assumes "kid stuff". Tch, not with all the blood, guts, language, and whatnot. XD If he stayed in the room long enough, he'd know that. When I visit my parents though, it's like an unspoken rule that my mom and I will wind up watching something no one else feels like watching (my husband usually will stick around, unless it's something he's seen too often or recently).

*thinks people who haven't been exposed to the more adult animes don't know what to categorize them as and so they just avoid putting them out there because they don't know how to promote them* And then people who like anime go nuts with lub to find that there is actually anime for adults when they discover it. :p

Lol, exactly. Fortunately, the internet makes it so much easier.

 Yep! I spend most of my time broke, but I think, if you've got a little extra money and you love something, why not? I mean...we gotta have some fun in our lives. >_> Otherwise we'll go nuts, right? :bored:

Yup! It's hard to remember why we're working so hard for that money, if we don't do a little frivolous spending with it, from time to time. :)

Oh! XD I see. *understands now and agrees about it feeling sad* Ooooh, I liked the first one, too. ^^ And both end themes. The second of DN's beginning themes was nice, but...kinda hurt my head. >_> *preferred the animation with it than the actual song*
Tbh, I've never been really "you must edit everything rawr!" to my betas (because that's mum's job  *troll**only half joking*). I'm more concerned with if the story flows and if everything makes sense/reads well. Because I try to put too much in fics some times and so...yeah. Disjointed thoughts ftw! But it's up to you. ^^ *will only be asking for people to beta after ever arc has been written, so won't be sending everyone a million chapters...all at once, anyway*

Dude...there was an Iron Man cartoon? :jawdrop: *must hunt this down when words are done for the day*
Oh. ^^ Tbh, I'm having a hard time getting into the manga, so that's why I was curious. *thought the anime might be easier to get into* I might look it up on YouTube, then. Amazon's renting costs are expensive. XP

Haha, kinda reminds me of my grandparents and I. XD I usually get along with my grandfather the best, but, when it comes to anime/comics/manga/etc. he's like "Nope. Gonna go watch sports." Gran will sit and watch them with me, but she has to ask questions the whole time cuz I don't think she understand what's going on half of the time.... :cautious: *lost track of how many times she's told her Gran to give it five minutes and the show will explain itself*

It really does.

Exactly! Plus, we need a reason to make more money, too....

Well, in that case, sure! I wouldn't mind beta-ing. ^^ I wouldn't change anything on you, anyway; I'd probably just highlight areas; something a beta did for me once (allowing me to fix my rough areas on my own).

Lol! I'm pretty sure I have the same problem; detail either goes one of two ways for me; either too much, or not enough. If you have a few betas looking over the same work, that's awesome; at least that way you get more rounded opinions on it (I wouldn't trust mine alone, but of what I've seen of your writing, I like it!)

Same with the explanations to my mom-while watching anything. And then she misses other stuff because of me explaining the previous parts to her. *Enter the headache of that particular endless cycle, lol*

CT: Oh my god...am I done this chapter? I think I'm done this chapter...maybe it needs a couple more lines at the end to give it that finality?

Ack..I don't know...my head hurts.

Take a break and eat a PB sandwich? :cautious:

Take a break and eat a PB sandwich. :dead: Then we can go over the chapter, and once that's done...epilogue...

Then we can cry for a few days, because we finished the long task of a fellow writer, and we feel bad, because we want her to celebrate with us, since without her, we wouldn't be doing this to begin with.

Why are we already experiencing withdrawal? The story isn't done, yet.

Also...why are we speaking like royalty? o_O

Okie dokie! I'll be checking my email frequently for notifications. ^^

And oh, it is; it really, really is. D: Some days, my brain is just like, "Here you go, have some perfectly flowing sentences!" the rest of the time, I'm like, "what's a good way to phrase *insert simple dialogue, gesture, or facial expression here*?

Heh, I guess for every pro, there's a con. ^^; Conflicting opinions would make it really difficult to know which way to go with something in particular.

You're welcome, and thank you. ^.^ I seem to have gotten it sorted out (that took forever, lol) and now, all I have to do is get the epilogue written up.

I'm not a super emotional person, but I'm fairly certain I'll cry once it's over. I've been writing one DMC 'fic after another since July with very short breaks in-between, and once this one is done, I have a feeling I won't be writing another one.

At least, not for a very long time...I want to start something original and put everything I've got into it, but I honestly think I'm a little scared. O_O

Well, I sent you a DocX link thingamabob, but, if DocX is still acting up then...yeah. (We shall see what happens next, I suppose.) *will probably send the chapters sometime between midnight and tomorrow morning cuz she's slow like that and didn't realize just how many edits she needed to do* >_>
Ermagerd, right? I have the hardest time describing body language and hand gestures. Logical/chatty/prettiness, sure thing. ILU hand gesture Grell does? Nope. >_<
Aww, you're welcome. ^^ Well, it's happy tears, right? :3 I always find finishing a fic to be the saddest part of writing, but it's fun, too. *feels accomplished if she can write a sentence some days so isn't entirely sure that feeling that way over a whole fic says much about her, but still*
=D Good luck with your original fiction! Original stuff is harder (imo, anyway), but it's fascinating to see what people come up with. ^^ *cheers you on*

Lol, it's all good. My internet is being a colossal douche right now; this is pretty much the only site I can get on to with no problems. This happens every now and then...but right now is such bad timing (I was about to upload my last chap and epilogue onto FF.Net). :banghead:

Yeah, there are definitely some happy tears, mostly relief; it's hard not to be sad, though.

Completely in agreement; mostly because I haven't been able to write anything original in...more than seven years, lol. I get so far, and then, it just dies. Thank you! *Hugs* Let's hope I don't lose it, this time.
