Ah, I see. I was going to say if they had stolen models you made, that would be really annoying. I know I'd be mad if someone did it.
But I guess you can't stop people using poses, it's not like you can copyright them...that would be weird. As for the Dante and pizza one, I have seen that before, quite a lot. Considering that happens to Dante in the game, I'm not surpised that people are doing that kind of pose. It seems quite popular.:lol:

I think bases are a good way of getting started, but there has to come a time were people should try to make their own art. How else can someone imporve if they are using work someone else has made as a base.
You should try and make your own models. It's fun. Sure, it takes a little work, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier. If you need help with that kind of thing, I could give you tips, or there are people on the modding section who could help. ^_^

I used to used bases (the main word being 'used', especially when I first joined DA), but I eventually broke away and got back to drawing (although it still think my stuff is rubbish).
Someone has talked me through using Blender already, and for some unknown reason, my laptop won't run it properly (it won't load in model textures and a few other things.) I'd tried joining models together in XNALara, but that doesn't go too well either.

So long as it has the adult mature content block on it, there's usually no problem with that kind of thing. So long as kiddies can't see it, they don't usually kick up a fuss on DA.

Actually, that would be a good way to break up with someone. Have them walk in on that kind of thing, and then explain that the fictional character is hotter than the guy will ever be, and how they can never live up to that fictional character's standards of awesomeness, and how the guy was just a substitute for the fictional character....at that point, I guess the guy would think there were some serious issues going on and run for it.:lol:

I just find it massively embarrassing when he plunks himself down beside me and watches what I'm writing/drawing, that's all. I can't work with him right next to me. He can see after it's done, but not while I'm busy. I'm weird like that XD

I'd hate it too if someone was hawking over my shoulder when I was trying to paint or write a thesis. It would bug he heck out of me, so I can relate. It's just the feeling of knowing someone is there right behind me, watching and breathing loudly. It's even worse when they ask questions. It makes me want to tell them to get on with their own assignments. But I guess that's what happens when you live with other people; they just wander into your room.

You have to like them for them...well, unless they're doing something harmful or really screwed up...then again, those kind of screwed up people can't be changed. Eating crisps is the worst! I've taken to leaving a whiteboard on my door now with messages written on it to tell the roomies what I'm doing so that they don't walk in while I'm working. It seems to work most of the time, unless they're too drunk to read.>_<
