lol. tough kryptonite. i'm just being real. i honestly believe that the franchise shat itself after DMC2...cleaned themselves up sloppily, then puked on themselves right afterwards...then made a cute attempt to redeem themselves which only looked cute to some but irritated others. honestly, if ya can't handle a baby's mess, don't adopt one

Kind of like, "don't do the crime if you can't do the time..." but it seems like Capcom (as usual) wants it both ways -- interesting how that philosophy seems to have that "trickle down" effect...

Trying to tell someone to shut up even in a "nice" way is still telling them to shut up... no matter how smoothly you try to word it.

let him have his fun. after all, while being a neutral party, i can say he's not too far off. some of the more...opinionated fans of the DMC series have gotten a little rough. and i'm not defending the crazy DmC fans. but i think that both extremes are in the wrong and Unknown is just clarifying that.

I'm on the middle ground as well. I walk my own road. I am in the sacred sanctuary where a handful of fans can enjoy both DMC and DmC...

Thank you. See, this is the point I'm trying to get across.

I for one see all the flaws in DmC. I have stated several times that I prefer the gameplay in DMC3. If the controls were tightened up in DmC2, then no one would have that many reasons to complain anymore.

However, as much as I dislike the gameplay, I'll still appreciate it for what it is. And I won't tolerate deconstructive criticism when I can improve the series with the constructive type instead.

I look at this from a completely objective standpoint.

I just don't understand the worship for some of the dialogue in the original series when it sounds like a direct-to-dvd script.

Yes, I'm aware of some of the bad dialogue in DmC, but like I said, I look at it both ways. Some of the original DMC dialogue is... above average.

now now, the whole part of being neutral is to not take sides on matters like these.

If your going to call out one side for their "rough words" then feel free to call out others as well.

I have seen my far share of "opinionated fans of DmC" get rough in their critic of the older "DMC fans" as of late.

Not going to get into this further since our history is not the best and you tend to get offended by my words even when I try to be respectful, but yes, both sides are at fault here, as many of my posts in the past will show I have expressed that clearly.

I just don't like when all the blame is simply dumped on "one side" that is all.
