I love to have Vegil throwing weapons like knives or shurikens though...but I think he will have summoned swords instead.
Hope he has more types of sword circles like when you do a helm breaker, all your summoned swords also synch or something.

Ever played Zone of the Enders? There are things that work a bit like how you said you want the summoned swords to work, be cool if it worked like that. Or at least certain parts of it.

Vergil. for me it all boils down to the same thing it boiled down to Dante for and one other thing, the personality, and the sword.

The personality here HAS to stay at LEAST 90% the same. MAYBE some MINOR alterations, but he needs to overall be a power hungry bastard. I don't want Vergil being a loving caring brother. I want him to be full of hatred and despair. and I'm pretty sure that also goes for a lot of the DMC fanbase that doesn't write fanfiction.

Really that doesn't even matter whether he is a good or bad guy, as long as he is a clever, emotionless bastard who only cares for himself, and seeks power, he can be on either side.

His sword has to have the same powers it did in the original series, this time around with an explanation as to how it got those powers maybe, (After the whole "We in the West like to explain things" speech by Alex Jones and Tameem)..

I feel like Vergil should be more caring or empathetic in this incarnation cause then it wouldn't make sense if he was cold hearted; why would a cold hearted person try and save humans from demonic manipulation? He HAS to have some caring or benevolent nature that supports him trying to help people. He CAN still keep the calculated and controlled personality but with a more "brotherly" attitude towards Dante or maybe be "the older brother, assuming that he is, that can't really bond with his younger bro but tries to all the time." It'll be nice to see their interactions. bet it's gonna be super awkward with Vergil trying to find common ground like:

Nobody liked the fact that Vergil as Nelo Angelo mimicked Dante's appearance like "I Should've BE WHERE YOU ARE!"

There was nothing similar between Nelo Angelo and Dante in terms of appearance. Nelo wore armor and was about a foot taller than Dante.

Then after that, he battles Dante hand to hand as if he had Beowulf equipped.

He has to mix it up. It would've been boring if he just used sword techniques.

On top of that Vergil's sword as Nelo Angelo looks alot like Dun Dun Dun RED QUEEN!

Hell yeah I chuckled. I spoke on this before. But I think if anyone helps Dante hone his anger, it will be Vergil. I believe they will have Vergil and Dante bond in this entry. Vergil probably won't be at the top of the food chain until the middle or end or the 2nd entry. I'm hoping or that to be true.

Yes, I paid attention, and, no, I did not see much of a resemblance. The guard on Nelo's hilt is double- sided. Nero's blade is one- sided while Nelo's is double- edged. And, again, Nelo's sword is a broadsword, Nero's is a grosse messer.

(Back On Topic, I would prefer it if Vergil was a nicer. It would be rather stupid if he was just the same as ever and thinks that Dante would be fine with that. Dante would rip him a new one.)
