In all fairness if anyone here played Bayonetta, a game made by Kamiya the creator of DMC, that game curses up a freaking raging storm...TVTropes literally described it as a ClusterFBomb.
I don't care if this Dante curses while the other one mostly said "ass" at the most. Looking at Bayonetta its a possibility if Kamiya made a DMC game it probably wouldn't be any different.

Agreed. I wouldn't mind if it were redesigned, but it should remain a Katana. I'd like to see Vergil acquiring it at some point in the game, rather than him just starting off with it.
Well, if Dante got his sword from the get- go, logic would dictate that Vergil, being his brother and all, would get it to.

Maybe it might share the same qualities as Rebellion. (transformation, appearing when in Limbo) Which opens another question; Can Vergil go into Limbo?
