Vergil should have less backlash

So back to the topic of Vergil; it seems he's the leader of the order this time around. How far do you think that's going to last? From our past knowledge of Vergil from DMC3, he's pretty cold and dark of a character, and power hungry, but when it comes to Dante, he's a bit more fun and almost a rival to Dante. So how do you guys think that interaction will transvert to this Vergil?

I think he is going to act nice and pleasant towards Dante and everypony else and then it all turns out to to be a facade, in the final level of the game Dante defeats Mundus and is about to free the human world from the Demon world when all of the sudden, boom, Vergil reveals his true intentions, and reveals that he wanted the power for himself as it was his "By blood right".

Vergil reveals whatever the heck truly happened to their mother and father, and feels that he needs the power to rule the demon world with an iron fist.

If he is the leader of the Order. He will remain the leader for a very long time. It's what he built, in truth it's a small army that he's trying to expand. I'd love cameo appearances or name drops of pursued demon hunters. You know, the famous ones that we all know and love.

To me, Vergil is the best character in the DMC series. He sets a goal and he goes for it not stopping for anyone to reach it. The goal he chose was power and it's not to take over the world, it's to protect the things that he loves. Dante understands that, which is why he mourned for him. Thing is, Vergil didn't limit himself to just killing demons, he would murder ANYONE who stands in his way. The tower itself being a huge "Screw You." To the human race. What if, Vergil was not only fighting for power but for Nero and Dante? I like to believe so.

I'd like to mention that in MvC 3, Vergil shows mercy to his foes and tells them to "Stay out of his way." I can't remember anything else at the moment, but you guys get the geist.

Thing is, in order to make Vergil better than he was before and make him a true swordmaster...

You have to give him two to four swords. He has to be able to one up Dante's arsenal and Vergil with multiple swords is just a perfect balance to me.

I hope they don't give him a gun...
How about a katana with multiplying effect = 1-4 Yamatos ?

what if vergil ended up like that ey?

So a long lost twin brother separated at birth who speaks in an Irish accent.......sounds like No More Heroes.

but if vergil did end up like that my life just got a whole lot funnier

or if they both ended up like that the story would be dante rather than killing mundus will be insulting him and getting drunk

Much like Tsuna in Otogi 2. Look up gameplay videos for more info.

I haven't posted a decent thing that is related to this thread right? Anyone?

On topic....
I don't have any problem with vergil at DMC3.He has everything i like from a character,anti-hero,villain ETC.
I just hope that he would still use yamato, and yamato is still an O-katana.Not only "katana" because it's short compares to an O-katana and pales in comparison from its cutting power.I would honestly prefer a black coat and his most attire is mostly similar to dracula from van helsing.(Seriously? Am i the only one who thought that dracula's attire from van helsing is badass?)

him being in charge of the order is something im skeptical off given that Vergil or Dante dont seem like the leader type.

But the problem with making Vergil a good guy is that, basically that's creating a new character and just naming him Vergil.

Vergil is a bad guy in the original series, and is a key plot point, making him a good guy and making him nice towards Dante is stupid because it basically kills the entire idea of him being Vergil, and really, what evidence is there to support the masked man being Vergil at all? True, the 4chan guy was mostly right. But did he really do anything other than play a demo. He was probably jumping to conclusions on the "It's Vergil" thing
