There is this guy who I used to follow on youtube named Sargon of Akkad, a brit, who has always been a voice of reason, but when it came to the elections I just couldn't agree with less. He made a few videos on Hillary winning being the worst thing for the existence of the human race in this world and when Trump won he made the single most condescending and mock full video. Usually he showcases the holes and insanities of modern feminism and other SJW related subject matter and tries to bring a degree of grounded judgement on it, pointing out hypocrisies and stupidity, but he just made a video mocking people who are on the extreme of the anti-Trump movement, people who said they'd kill themselves, the America with 3 K's hashtag users and so on and tried to make it sound like those were the only kind of people who didn't like Trump in the presidency.

He's mockery involved fake complaining about how Trump was going to raise death camps for all foreigners and how everyone should flee to Canada because the next Hitler has just risen to power. Because there are only two possibilities of the outcome of this presidency, death camps or the greatest president of the US. I can't believe I'm calling this guy a moron but he is been a jackass. A president can make life for anyone very difficult, raise prices, change policy, implement and push law, military power, make it damn near impossible to do, get, or even apply for something, like healthcare or citizenship. Everything I've heard about Hillary didn't worry me as much as just knowing that a man who shamelessly talks like Trump does becoming president, and it's not just his racist, sexist, and sometimes even downright dumb comments. The people of the US have selected this man to represent them, to be their leader and primary ambassador to the world, this is the man people will associated with the image of the US, who would represent their ideals, their values, their views, and he's a racist... Sweet lord almighty, protegenos de todo mal, I hope I'm wrong. I hope I'm overthinking, exaggerating and exasperating the situation.

As for Sargon I honestly think he's been fighting the infantile and over indulged feminazis of the world so long that a president that tried to get the young and SJW women's vote raised more flags than an man that actually said "My ideal company is a fine piece of ass." As it stands I'm not going to watch his videos, ever again.

Thunderf00t thinks that I'm some kind of mentally unstable individual because he cannot grasp why any sane person would believe in the non scientific, to have faith without facts (thus being knowledge and not faith) on, as I think he called it, an imaginary bearded man. Sargon prefers a man like Trump over Hillary and doesn't seem to grasp that she won the popular vote, meaning the people, and he's mocking everyone who is actually scared and piling them with the dumbest and craziest SJW you can find on the internet, and most other people who are the 'voice of reason' fit somewhere in between. Screw them all, both sides are self righteous tools who seem to pair up anyone sharing any trait with the opossition with biggest a$$#0l$ the said opposing party has to offer.

In terms of Trump, I am genuinely baffled that the US, the world power, elected the candidate who self glorified himself with no actual proof of his statements to his greatness. They bought it, like a high school popularity contest and not the mentality of grown adults who were to determine the course of their country. I have so many things to say on the matter but it is what it is and all we can do is wait and see and hope for the best.

As a muslim who didnt like Trump i was curious about why some muslims did vote for him.

honestly i don't see anything wrong from his foreign policies

as a muslim too all i can say is that it's all politics @Z218 , to appeal the masses, like you know, i live in a muslim majority country, the losing side from the last election uses mass appealing strategy on his campaign.. the same xenophobic, discriminative and pressing minorities stuffs.. so words like kafr, chinese and communism is used against the elected muslim, native and democratic president.. fitnah is a normal sight since 2014, and the attack just keeps on til now

and guess what, that losing side is well friended with trump, dated back when this country was ruled for 32 years under one president --the guy is also a gold mine and a very rich person here, they even send their representatives to support trump's campaign, look at those three south east asian looking bunch

maxresdefault.jpg

the same thing happened here too when the president was elected, "gonna move from this kafr country", in actuallity, they're still here, being keyboard warriors..

what goes around comes around i guess..

i'm just saying it's politics..

Just reminded me of an old classic Wrestlemania 23 moment from 2007 involving Trump. I would want to punch Trump just for the sheer 'up his own ass' expression on his face, guess he was a good sport about it though at the time & was entertaining.

Indeed.

I'm glad there are at least a few people here who understand that.

Even if you were against me Absolitude, I would listen to your arguments and would be willing to debate because you've always posted your thougts in a rational, level-headed manner (instead of screaming at anyone who disagrees with your opinion because "racism" -- like some people out there).

I mean, as long as we had these discussions in PM -- no need to bring in anyone who simply can't grasp the idea of justified backlash, you know?

wow, thank you, in context to trump, i'm really fed up with senseless and blind hatred spewing everyday on the internet thx to what happened here politically.. not saying members here are doing that towards trump, just generally the situation in my country..

to be honest, dmc and my country's 2014 election really changed how i argue, i guess i'm just tired, that i just wanted to show there are two sides of things..

to note, i don't hate trump nor i like him, humans are complicated..

The problem, IMO, is how our voting system works. The popular vote means nothing and never has, the only votes that matter are electorals. And they can be influenced either way. There's a reason that when we set up governments in other countries, it's a parliamentary system instead of being based on ours.

With the climate thing, the USA is tied in for a 4year minimum so Trump could be out of office by then, is that right?

How do people feel about his plans to scrap Obamacare?

I actually do not mind him scrapping that, getting a penalty for not having it was a turn off for my since day one,
the only thing I'm really worried about with Trump is his foreign policy given his complete lack of knowledge on many issues from Syria to Ukraine (Remember the "Russia isn't going into Ukraine" line?). He fails to realize at the moment how important it is to keep alliances to maintain the status quo that is going on in the world and keep the US as the most relevant power globally, if we go the Isolationist route that he has been spewing by withdrawing troops from Japan and South Korea or failing to defend a country because they are not paying what we would like them to pay then we as American's also suffer on credibility as well is reliability front on a global scale which in turn would make us far weaker in projecting power as well as keeping countries like Russia,China,or North Korea at bay, so in short his plan on "making America great again" would lack bite if we lose all our credibility on the world stage.

But having said all of that I understand where is is coming from with some Nato countries not meeting the agreed upon 2% of GDP budget that is required for all members, but simply not defending them and even worse telling the WORLD this will only embolden certain countries who may have aspirations of invading them in the near future. The good news is that certain things may need to be run by Congress first so he will not be able to completely turn over the American establishment abroad since Congress themselves know how crucially important things are on the word stage such as the recent Iran deal and how if he does scrap it like he says then it may mean war with Iran which could very easily turn into a sectarian regional one.

Hopefully Congress as well as his Vice President and members of his staff who all have some sort of experience on world affairs are able to either talk some sense into him or use whatever means that can to throw wrenches into some of his plans if need be.

"The hypocrisy of Clinton's supporters is 'horrifying'."

Snowflake leftists gave Trump and his supporters crap for saying that they might not concede -- and now they themselves are refusing to concede because the election didn't go their way.

Then again, I expected no less from these animals. I knew they wouldn't accept the results if Trump won. I have no problem taking this issue to the battlefield, if it comes to that.

Try it, socialists. Watch what happens.

I'm just going to elaborate on what @DreadnoughtDT said here with this:

I'm not surprised. Almost the same thing happened here years ago. That's what happens when you crap on the actual will of the people. They get ****ed off. The majority of the Americans doesn't want Trump and didn't vote for him, that's the truth. I keep thinking the problem is that nonsensical system you have.

To be honest I didn't know the American system worked like that till these elections. It baffles me that the actual majority of the people vote for someone, yet the other one wins. In this case, people chose Clinton but Trump won.

How is that democracy again?

It's not democracy. And the US has never been a democracy. We're a "democratic republic" which basically means "Hell if we know, we're kinda both."

EDIT: This might be my 2 AM tired brain thinking this, but it's kinda funny to me that I'm sporting an Undertale avatar/persona and speaking seriously about political issues. Nice juxtaposition, that.

Alaina: "B##ch I'm ready for a race war if all the hick a## white people wanna fight?? POC (people of color) will destroy y'all."

Amazing Atheist's response: "Charming. I'm pretty sure if you open up a history book, you'll see in fairly short order that us white people are pretty f##king good at war. I daresay we're the best at it.

So take your best shot."

That's ****ed up. And worrying. You should all demand a change in how electing your leader works. What the majority of Americans want is what should matter. The majority of you didn't want Trump (whoever else you voted for, Clinton or a third party) yet he's gonna be your leader and representative. That doesn't make any sense at all.

As far as you know, is there any other country that does it like the US?
