This party's getting cruurzeyh! (DmC comes at No.1 in the UK Chart)

Well anywhoo so is this that it only sold 1/3 of what it did worldwide in the uk alone or it only sold 1/3 of it collectively World wide

Well Capcom has money, Ninja Theory I know for a fact doesn't have that kinda money to throw out at reviewer but on the other hand Capcom sure does.
 
Ok im sorry last question so this game sold 1/3 of what it did in the uk then or are these seperate facts..... to clear this up im trying to say is are they saying hey this game is no. 1 in the uk but world wide it sold 1/3 than its previous game.... or This game is no. 1 in uk but sold 1/3 compared to the previous game

Well it's only been out a week so far, we wont have any real solid numbers for a few months, at least not any that people should pay too much attention to.

True.

In regards to these sales figures, I'm glad that Ninja Theory was able to top the charts in their (and my) nation!
As for DmC only making a third of Devil May Cry 4, that's actually quite impressive in it's first week alone.
Hopefully (and surely) it will improve later on this month.
 
This game is doing very well in the UK, but I find it strange they don't mention the U.S sales.

It has completely dropped off the top 100 of the U.S's Amazon and it is not doing well on Steam either. Will have to wait for GameStop's sales to see how it goes though, but I'd say that the U.S market is far more important than the UK's market.

I find it hard to believe Capcom who, although is a very rich company, but is still not that well off like Activision would bother buying reviews for this one game. Not for Resident Evil, their biggest franchise that eclipses dmc in terms of history and fanbase, or Dragon's Dogma, their newest risky IP, or Street FighterXTekken, their latest rip off fighting game, but for DmC. It's highly unlikely Capcom reached out it long rich fingers to the video game press and bought almost every reviewer that has given this game 8-9 score and Angry Joe and Adam Sessler are the lone bastions of integrity because they gave it lower scores.

If you don't like the game that's fine, no one with a ounce of competence would give two ****s about that. But just because you don't like it does not mean that people who do are stupid or are not true fans, or that every person who says the game is not crap is a paid Capcom employee.

When people start jumping into these conspiracy theories, they just make themselves look like paranoid whiners who can't grasp the fact that people like something they don't. If your not a fan then just move on and play something else, let the folks who do enjoy it have their fun. It's simply not a big enough deal to spend any time pontificating on the evil machinations of Capcom to buy something that has little to no impact on a products sales.
 
Leave Multibro alone, he has not said anything that is untrue or rude to anyone. He's right, it has only sold a fraction of what DMC4, and it is too early to even care about any of that stuff so folks need to get off his back. I love DmC but just because he is not fond of it does not make him a douche

Considering it's a UK based developer, I'm actually not surprised the numbers for the UK came out first, it's kind of a mark of pride for NT right now. Also keep in mind the number of people flooding eth review and report charts making fake reviews and tearing eth game to shreds to make it look like the user base hates it. Just look at Metacritic after all..
 
He is a douche because he does not belong here. We all know this is a pro DmC site so why is he here. Multi needs to go to a riseing forum. Nothing wrong with that game Im going to purchase it day one. But if he is so into that Raiden is his avatar and he is trying to act like DmC sales are no big deal then gtfo the pro DmC forum. It pretty pathetic. Please dont defend him. He does not deserve it.

So because he doesn't agree with you he should leave? He hasn't even said anything bad about the series as a whole, and whether you like it or not many people have negative feelings on the game.

That's good for you. And really, pro DmC sales in the UK aren't a huge deal. What's important is how it does in the U.S, and if not there then Japan.

I find it funny how he has way more posts and has been here way longer than you.
 
wait im lost who said that DmC is not on the top 100 for xbox its like 35 ps3 is at 30 i cant combine the 2 because its gives me a bunch of xbox cards and all sorts of other bs

The reason I am here? That is because I love the DMC serie and wish to discuss it here.
I never said the sales number were no big deal, just said that it doesn't show any big significant after just one week. One month is usually a better scope to see if a game have sold well or not.

While I'm not fond of DmC, I'm still allowed to discuss it here as long as I do it in a calm manner and I think people agree that I have done that so far.

And my avatar? I'm pretty hyped for MGR and I like how the picture looked so I picked it as my avatar. Is there some rule that says I cannot have it? If so, I'll change the picture without any fuss.

I'm just another dude that enjoys videogames~

Well how do you know he is all of what you say he is? I mean, all I see is people getting on his case because he said something that was in fact true. His intentions don't really matter in that case. I still think it great that they got that number one spot in the UK and I hope the games does really well but I still know it's too early to celebrate too much. And an avatar does not really mean anything, I mean, my avatar has nothing to do with DMC at all.
